I just bought a egg puff today with my regular groceries and when i received back to my home it really smells very bad. Where the puff they given was spoiled and throwed in trash. So everyone should be aware of the cooked food like this where it might cause to food poison.

Found what I wanted to buy, and it's a great addition to consider buying your-not-so-common- kitchen gadgets and utensils.

This store is close to my place and also they have large number of selection. Things they need to improve is1) Some of the items are expired or near expired. Some examples:- Rashgulla, Gulab Jamun, Chai patti, cookies2) Charging a different price in counter than display.

I appreciate the reasonable pricing of this store, which makes it a good choice for budget-conscious shoppers. However, it's worth noting that the variety of options may not be as extensive as what you'd find at Patel Brothers. Nevertheless, it serves as a valuable alternative for those in Missouri, where Patel Brothers' chain is not available.

Never find fresh vegetables here and the weird rules to buy rice bag are ridiculous. Don’t dictate terms to shoppers, people can buy what they need not what you want to sell and yes if they come just for rice bags what’s wrong in that? Yes we know you are doing business but please try to build trust first business will automatically follow.

Due to people trying to pile up loads of rice bags because of a social media post, to limit the number of bags purchased this store mandated a minimum spend of 50$ to purchase one rice bag.As a customer, I find it unacceptable and unethical to impose such restrictions on rice. Everyone should have access to necessary goods without being forced to spend a minimum amount. This policy is not only unfair but also insensitive to customers who may be facing financial constraints or simply want to make small purchases.I want to point out the fact that this policy is in direct violation to multiple consumer rights.May be they could have said, one bag per person if their true intention is to not of rice bags.Owner did infact mentioned that “current customers are in store only to purchase rice bags and they never came to purchase here before or won’t return to this store after this rice bags chaos.” Is that the reason the owner is trying to cash-in through illegal and unethical ways? If you want customers to return to your store, make sure to always have good and fresh vegetable collection with wide variety.Oh, forget to mention the fact that the price was already increased by 6$ per bag, while other stores did a 2$ increase.Update in response to owner’s response: I already purchased a bag along with the groceries. So yes, I purchased groceries but you can’t force a customer to purchase for minimum amounts again and again. I was in this store more than 5 times before. You can’t generalize that people are here only for rice. Even if they did, nothing wrong as customers have multiple options. Isn’t it their choice from whom to purchase their groceries from? If you want to stand out in businesses, don’t complain and treat them with respect and empathy.

Ate the sweet paan here for 2.49$ it was stale and smelled bad, the leaves were brown and we had to throw away all of them. Since it was wrapped in a foil we couldn’t see how fresh it was inside. I am assuming it was atleast a week old.

The best variety of rice I have ever seen, very friendly staff. We got a steamer for our vegetables, and it works perfect, plus a cart full of groceries and a very large variety of herbs.

The shopping in STL and surrounding (Manchester, Maryland Heights and Lindbergh) is pretty good! I was excited when I saw this opened. The selection is good- they have things I haven't seen at other stores. The prices are a bit high and it is worth it to comparison shop. The cooler area is a nice touch and their frozen food selections are good varieties. The down side of this store is friendliness. The staff is not super helpful or very inviting. Luckily this type of shopping environment is not new to me. However, I can see how it might be off-putting to others. Overall a great store but have just the few downsides as I mentioned above. I will continue to shop here as it is close to my house and has a good supply.
