Fantastic family service. Which is rare these days.
I'm very meticulous about my car and service and my current place went out of business. Freck's and Sons treated me like I've been a friend for years. I highly recommend.

It’s one of the very few places in the county that does inspection on the same day. Wonderful service and extremely professional. If you are planning on coming here, bring some dog treats. You might run into a floof (golden retriever)

My car was not going to pass inspection. I was panicking and I heard about Frecks so I called them and they got me in the next day and fixed the problem for a very reasonable price and I was able to get my inspections from them as well. I had taken it to Firestone the previous day and they wanted to charge me for all kinds of things they said were wrong! My car is running great and I am so pleased with their service! Highly recommend!! Thank you Frecks!

Setup an appointment last week to have a look-over inspection of my newly purchased ’87 Elcamino. Since I’m not a mechanic, I like to get such an inspection done so I’m aware of all major issues. I gave the front lady a list of observations and told her I look forward to hearing what the professionals find in addition to my list or verify my findings. The owner called a few hours later saying that they don’t have time to address my list. I told him that’s ok, but if he could at least still do the pre-purchase inspection so that I could get a better idea of most issues I would need to fix/address for safety/mechanical purposes. He even refused to do that and hang up the phone on me. I don’t know why car shop would turn down a potential multi thousand plus dollar job and waste customers’ time driving to and from the shop if their not interesting to inspecting/fixing simple issues. Will not be bringing them anymore business. Owner needs to learn better customer service skills or hire someone that can. If you do go there, talk to owner because front lady has no authority to take-in potential work.

Both times I've taken our car here, the mechanics have been fast and friendly. They have had appointments available sooner than other local auto shops too.

Don’t take your class A RV there for an inspection. We made the appointment and then brought it there. They drove it around back. Then, a few minutes later they drove it back around front and told us they can’t fit it in their shop. Not sure why they would not have realized that before they made the appointment. When we made the appointment we told them it was a huge class a RV and gave them all the info on it. So then, when we went to leave we noticed that he got huge puddles of mud in it. Which is really disappointing because I just cleaned all of the interior carpet. Really disappointing and the lady at the front desk didn’t really seem to care. I guess it’s just a few minutes out of her day, but has been a real headache for us and now has set us back about a week because we’ve had to make an appointment elsewhere and they can’t get us in for a week. We will never go there again.

These guys keep fixing what others won't.What that means in the St. Louis market is the franchise stores train salesmen to work on cars after they make a big sale.Frecks will just fix your car!!!
