I made an appointment for a flu vaccine with the intent of getting a covid vaccine at he same time. Online it said not to make an appointment for the covid vaccine and to walk in but the technician refused to do the covid vaccine because they were too busy. I would not go back and I'll be transferring all of my prescriptions to a different pharmacy in the future.

*This review is strictly of their Minute Clinic; no comment on other departments* I made an appointment to see a doctor with their Minute Clinic yesterday and it's called "Minute" for a reason! I had probably the least thorough medical care I've ever received. Additionally, before I saw the "doctor", the nurse who took my vitals asked a rude nosy question about a bruise that she judgmentally assumed was from some sort of DV situation, going so far as to ask me if I "felt safe in my own home"? I live in one of the quietest safest and most boring neighborhoods in the entire St. Louis area with one of my best friends. I can assure you, I feel very safe in my own home and if that were the issue I had come in to discuss, I wouldn't be going to CVS for help. DV is a serious issue and that's a big accusation to bring up at a casual medical visit for a potential ear infection. Her nosy questions about a completely unrelated bruise from natural consensual causes made my entire visit incredibly awkward and uncomfortable from thereon forward.Once the doctor came in, she looked in my ears for about 2 seconds before deciding what was wrong. She didn't ask questions about additional symptoms or investigate further than a quick glance at my ears, missing things that I saw at home with an octoscope I ordered from Amazon for a fraction of the $149 they billed me for my 2-minute doctor visit without insurance (she said they bill between $99-149 for uninsured patients; why I needed to pay the max amount is beyond me!).My advice to anyone without insurance or wanting "quick" healthcare: go to one of St. Louis's low-cost family centers or urgent cares, where they will give you a full thorough exam. CVS Minute Clinic is basically useless unless you have good insurance and you have a very simple medical issue that has a clear solution, which describes very few medical problems, in my experience.

CVS would benefit greatly by investing in customer service trainings for their associates. I was able to experience a representative named Katie at the drive thru on Mid Rivers in June 2023.... Her demeanor was careless, and confrontational.... please remember you are working to provide many people pertinent essentials to daily living/survival... Kindness cost nothing...

This particular CVS had the worst pharmacy. Rude doesn't even describe how bad they are. I would not recommend this place to my enemy much less anybody I cared about

Made me run out of my out of my asthma medicine! Called in a week before I ran out. On the 8th day, they said they were still waiting to get some. On the 9th day, they said that the CVS across the street had some. Why didn't they tell me that 9 days ago? Made me go without my meds for no reason but stupidity

I like shopping! And this CVS is exactly what I need when grabbing personal stuff swiftly. The store is clean & the employees are knowledgeable and very friendly. I shop here often and I enjoy my time here. New products and what I know and love. I give 4 stars.

The minute clinic is awesome. My Dr. Doesn't see sick patients anymore. (I know, wtf? Right?!) They suggested I go to urgent care for a COVID/flu/ step test. W/ ins that's $75+. Walgreens did away w/ their clinics. Yay CVS! In and out and only $30!! For the win!

Lisa the Nurse Practitioner was wonderful and I would give her 6 stars if I could. The pharmacy tech was extremely rude and off putting and spoke under her breath and seemed pissed off the entire time. She couldn't find my insurance info on file and acted so hateful throughout the whole process. She is ignorant and cruel and shiuld be fired!!! All other Cvs locations in Saint Charles have been great. Will avoid this location at all cost except for the lovely Lisa in the Minute Clinic. She is the best.

I love CVS and shopping here however this location hardly ever has employees sadly. You come in and there is navy one employee and you have to get lucky enough that they are available for you to get assistance. I don't believe it's the employees hold obviously everyone sure soft but it's just very difficult to get assistance at this location. Always make sure you have your coupons clipped etc. prior to going in the store because sometimes the store does not have the best service so when I have a coupon I want to clip and I try using the app it does not always work and I have to step outside. They told me how to go into the store to do it.

Apparently they strongly prefer appointments for vaccines and don't do them until after 11am. I really waited for a hour to be told just to come back again later. There was a lot of hesitation from the person behind the counter as she said this. Like she was actually unsure or she didn't feel like doing it to begin with. Anyway, Walgreens is down the road and very accommodating. I think I'll be going there from now on.
