Our rambunctious eight month old German Shepherd is a completely different dog because of the training she has received! Don’t wait, start now for a happier and better behaved pup!!

We love Baxter's and have been going there for many years now!
Our last dog had some issues with people and we didn't trust him with anyone else for boarding. We knew that when we left him at Baxter's they knew how to handle him so not only was everyone safe, but he also had a good time! They were the only reason we were able to travel and leave him, and we are forever grateful for that!
Our current dog is very social and is a regular at Baxter's for day care. He LOVES his camp days! Every time we walk in he's greeted by name and I genuinely feel like every staff member enjoys having him there. I can confidently drop him off knowing that not only is he getting the best care, but he's also having a great time (and burning off energy!). All play is overseen by knowledgeable staff that encourages healthy play and discourages bad behavior. This has helped teach my dog the appropriate way to play with other dogs, which benefits us outside of day care. I work from home full time so these day care days also allow him to build relationships with other people and have time away from me, which helps with separation anxiety. The addition of the theme days is a big bonus for me and I love seeing all the extra fun the dogs are having!
Recently, our dog started developing some anxiety. We immediately reached out to Baxter's for training and started working with Hailee, who was very knowledgeable and quick to identify issues. We appreciated the flexibility on training sessions and the ability to meet at home or out and about so we could work with Reese in specific locations. His anxiety ended up being mostly caused by a medical issue (which Hailee helped us identify), but we still use the exercises and techniques we were given during training to help him work through the anxiety during his pain periods. Reese loves Hailee and is always excited to see her!
We have been customers of Baxter's for for about 13 years now and have recommended them to friends and family many times over the years. We have personally experienced boarding, training, and day care and have been very happy with all aspects.
We will be customers for many years to come.

The groomer here is the best! Whether it’s just doing nails, a bath, a haircut or all 3, she pours her love into your dog and making them look amazing! My dog has anxiety and she is so patient with him and makes him look so handsome! Rango just loves Bekah.

This is a safe and enriched environment for your dogs. I highly recommend them. The staff go above and beyond to make sure their charges are well cared for and have an excellent stay, extended or just for the day. The staff is always willing to go the extra mile. They have many fun activities for the dogs also.

We started going to Baxter’s 5 years ago with our first dog, Lincoln. He had been going to regular doggie daycare at another facility and started getting cranky being around so many other dogs. Baxter’s offers a great option of out alone daycare and the trainer at the time was fantastic and worked with Lincoln on refresher training.
When we got our second dog, Malia, we brought her to Baxter’s for training, unfortunately the trainer that worked with Lincoln was no longer there. We were not happy with the results we were getting with Malia, until that trainer left and new trainers came in. it was like night and day just after a couple sessions. Hailee and Cheyenne are amazing, skilled, knowledgeable and most importantly Malia is SO EXCITED to go to Baxter’s for out alone daycare. Lincoln is like an old man that would rather stay home most days but when we do get him out he perks up and is very happy to see everyone at Baxter’s. Thank you Hailee and Cheyenne for taking maniac Malia down a notch, we never thought the day would come that she could manage to be a calm(er) girl! You ROCK!

We haven’t boarded our dogs in a few years and needed a place to take them. One of our dogs is leash aggressive and it’s hard and stressful to find a place understanding of this (having 3 pitbull mixes is sometimes like that). I called Baxter’s and inquired about boarding and we arranged a trial day for the dogs and they did just fine. Baxter’s took our dogs for 8 nights, had them play together outside and took great care of them. We picked our dogs up and they weren’t covered in urine like at the last place we boarded them. I highly recommend Baxter’s for anxious parents of dogs who aren’t the best behaved and want a safe and friendly place to take their dogs!

We have a high energy chocolate lab that has been going to Baxter’s for years. He loves going there. Recently we’ve been doing training with Cheyenne and Hailee, they’re doing a great job with him and we’re seeing great results. Definitely worth it!

I positive and negative aspects to this place however I found the overall environment stressful. It's a doggy free for all in a large warehouse building with a bunch of people drinking. The entire place stinks and it feels like a dog on dog disaster waiting to happen but some people love it. Personally it made me anxious and overwhelmed.

I was in town visiting my daughter over Labor Day weekend and wanted my dog who was traveling with me to have some time away from her kitten. I called earlier in the week and booked day care for Saturday and Sunday and booked my golden retriever's temperament test for Saturday am. they called me just an hour after drop off stating he passed and would spend the day with the big dogs. Each day I picked him up he was happy and so tired from a great day of play! The facility was clean and the dogs all looked happy and well taken care of. I will definitely use Baxters during future visits! It is a great home away from home for us.

If you want somewhere to board your dog go to Baxter's. I received a call when mine wouldn't eat which let me know they were invested in my dog's well being. Prices are great and so are the employees. Thanks for caring for Lucky.

OUR AWFUL EXPERIENCE: Rude, know-it-all staff; smug/curt, “we know your dog better than you do” attitude & answers for everything even if they make no sense. Sched’d 1.5 yr pup to board starting on a SAT. Told could bring him by for temperament test on FRI--no timeframe, just come on by. Arrived early afternoon but TOO LATE! Next day, dropped him off 1:30 on our way to vaca--too late again! When asked when testing was, the answer was “it varies” – apparently the times are top secret! No testing on SUN so he’d have to wait until MON, after 2 days in kennel w/ no interaction w/ other dogs. He mysteriously “failed” the vague temperament test, as many other reviewers have mentioned. My opinion: they do as many tests as possible w/ owners not around (hence the vagueness), “fail” them & then try to UP-SELL other svcs like 1-on-1 play, etc.*SECRETIVE -- Upon pickup asked to see his kennel. Told no; I insisted. Staff B nervously said “ok let me just check on him.” Peeked around the corner & could see B trying to find our dog! Finally let back to see him: no chew toys or bedding, just an empty slatted kennel.*MEDS -- Our dog has food allergies & I provided the EXACT amount of allergy meds for the number of days +1 that we’d be gone. The a.m. meds seemed to have been given but more than HALF the p.m. meds were unused (Benadryl). When asked why, female trainer rudely assured me they’d administered them every day. When asked how that was possible w/ half left she smugly said "we have our own Benadryl & probably gave him ours, not yours." Makes no sense since ours was together w/ his food & a.m. meds & theirs was in a cabinet up front at check-in. She stuck w/ her story despite admitting she wasn’t present for p.m. meds nor the one who administered ANY of his meds.*FOOD -- B assured me our dog had eaten well (2x/day) the entire stay & other than one a.m. feeding had eaten all food as scheduled. Like the meds, food had been provided for exact number of days +1 yet almost HALF was left. So they COULDN’T have fed him as requested– despite claiming they had.*CHEW TOYS -- picked up at 11:00 & he had no chew toys in his kennel. Asked why & B said, “oh, we gather up all their stuff first thing in the morning on day of pick-up so we are ready when you arrive.” Makes no sense because they could just as easily retrieve the chew toys when they retrieve the dog! B just repeated the mantra of “we just want to be ready for you.” Gut feeling is our dog never got his chew toys the entire time.*BEDDING – Asked for his bedding at pick-up. B seemed irked, went to the back & brought out some ratty towels. Told him not ours. He returned to the back for long time then came out w/ bedding WET in a garbage bag & said pulled from washer. I asked if our dog had a kennel accident & B said “oh no, just had a little bit of food on it.” So I am to believe they gather up ALL the meds, food & chew toys "first thing on pick-up day" in order to “have everything ready” but then throw his bedding in washer due to “a little bit of food” so it’s NOT ready at pick-up? Again, an answer for everything. Guessing they didn’t take him out timely & he had accident in his kennel, which he hasn’t had since 10 wks old.Their website says: “We provide all-inclusive stay, which means one price for your boarding needs. Your dog will enjoy playing freely w/ their fur-friends in the indoor outdoor parks all day….” They are NOT one price for all boarding needs & try to upsell you on many things. We were told “base price” $48/night ONLY included 4 trips outside @ set times to potty & ALL OTHER SERVICES were extra. Told J at check-in about food allergies & while we work w/ vet to determine exact allergy we feed only one type of kibble including for treats. He REPEATEDLY tried to up-sell us on games involving THEIR treats including a frozen kong filled w/ their food. What part of “NO THANK YOU, HE HAS FOOD ALLERGIES” is hard to understand? Dog came home stressed, thin, hungry, skittish/nerv
