I ordered a medication to be delivered yesterday. Paid extra for it and everything. My card was charged, but the med was never delivered. The pharmacy is closed today. Now I have to pay more money to get my prescription filled at a different location and wait in hopes that this pharmacy will give me a refund. I highly recommend not choosing this pharmacy if you can avoid it.
This is also also not the first issue I've had with this pharmacy either. It's like pulling teeth to get your prescriptions from them

I could literally hear the person pick up and then immediately hang up on me.

Shaunice “the African American manager with the BAD acne” is sooo unprofessional and rude. EVERY encounter that myself or my family has had with her has been unpleasant. I live 3 minutes away and I will NOT go to that store. Shaunice NEVER smiles or speaks! She actually acts like she doesn’t want to be there or you’re bothering her. I’m not sure why she’s so unhappy, but she needs to leave that anger at home! I will definitely be contacting corporate! I should NOT have to travel farther and be inconvenienced! I’m the customer.

I've been getting my prescriptions filled here for years. On September 29, 2023 I had the WORST experience in the pharmacy dept. I was totally ignored intentionally!! It was a total of 4 people Walgreens manager, pharmacy manager and 2 techs. There wasn't anyone in the drive-thru or in line just me!! One of the techs I'm familiar very nice he got so upset because he noticed how intentional they were behaving!! A huge argument with explicit words was between him and another tech to my surprise this went on for several minutes while both managers said absolutely nothing!!! All my prescriptions wasn't ready or couldn't find them I didn't want to wait after all of that. I returned October 3 same people same situation me being ignored!! I said this feels like Friday. The pharmacy manager said I want give you your prescription ? yes you will that's illegal!! She continued talking aggressive and argumentative I asked her several times lady stop talking with me yet she continued!! The racism and disrespect was too much!! This crazy Karen called the police as I was walking out towards the front to leave once she finally gave my prescription. The nice officer witness one of the tech come behind the counter as if she was going to run up to me saying "here I am what's up ? I said to the officer she better not run up on me!! I called corporate several times to fill a complaint no return call!! I see why management and techs are so racist and disrespectful because corporate allows this behavior!! I transferred all my prescriptions from Walgreens totally people are evil!! You never know what they might do to your prescriptions.

This Walgreens has the worst customer service ever! I wanted to deposit money onto my card, and they were saying they could only do one transaction when I've been to this location before, and a girl easily did two transactions no problem. If you're going to be lazy, get another mf job ?.

I could not believe the level of incompetence at this location. I try to have my prescriptions transferred from a different pharmacy. And they literally lost it. And they lied about it to cover up their incompetency, with the manager of the pharmacy backing up their lie. Nicole Evans was who I talk to, and was who the other Pharmacy fax my prescriptions to? She was rude with an attitude like I was disturbing her. What a nightmare.

I needed a passport photo and both ladies working this evening were extremely pleasant. I got my photo done in less than 10 minutes . Great customer service is hard to come by these days so thank you ladies !

My name is Erica and I work for Walgreens in Kingshighway and Chippewa in the pharmacy. Ive been with the company for over 6 years and I extremely love what I do. I'm here to help and assist in any means necessary. Any customer that comes to my pharmacy will tell you when I, myself or any pharmacist there we go above and beyond for our customers. There are a few comments on here that don't add up to what I am saying and that's fine EVERYBODY is entitled to their own opinion. We are not working in the pharmacy to judge or critzie anyone that comes and get a prescription filled with us. We work hard and dedicate our time to making everyone happy and making sure we go the extra mile for EVERYONE not some. Take a second to think how overworked we are or how we are working overtime to meet the customers wants and needs. And honestly if we're such a horrible and bad pharmacy or store ask yourself why do you keep coming back? If we are so incompetent why go back? We communicate and tell you what is the issue and let you all know our next steps but if that's not good enough than why come back? Maybe if we all have the common curiosity and be polite to one another the instead of coming in yelling and demanding what needs to happen you'll get somewhere.

If I could give them negative stars I would. They made a mistake with my medication and will not correct it. They don't scan the pill bottles, they just scan the printout so they don't even know if they're giving you all the meds you're paying for. I picked up 5 medications, went home, put away my meds and went on with my day. I realized later that I was missing 1 med. I've spent 3 days trying to correct this situation. I keep getting different stories as to what is going on. I was told they watched the camera and saw I did not get all my meds and they would refill it, today I'm told something totally different and they will not fill it unless I pay out of pocket since my insurance won't cover it again as it's too soon. It was human error, it happens. Someone forgot to put the pill bottle in the bag with the other meds. Instead of helping me with this situation they treat me as if I'm just lying. It's a medication for acid reflux! It's not a controlled substance, which I do take 1 every day. If I was going to "sell" my meds I'd sell the one people can misuse. Who is going to abuse an acid reducer?? I'm treated like a criminal because they made a mistake. I've worked customer service for over 20 years and the service I received was deplorable. All they care about is the bottom line, not the customers. I've had nothing but problems since I started using Walgreens 11/2022. Incompetent staff.Never again.

I felt safe being though a security guard is there right up front and at all times. The area is not really a good spot in the city due to high crime and just very run down but I was impressed with the establishment and the items were reasonable and it was also very clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful. They offer lots of other services, pharmacy, Western Union, photo development and in store shopping for groceries, health and beauty, seasonal items and more. I would definitely go back to this particular Walgreens.

Pharmacists here are not good at communicating with customers. I called to get some at-home covid tests billed to my insurance in January and the person on the phone told me her system was down and couldn't check my benefits.I proceeded to call other pharmacies and no matter what day I called they said I couldn't bill until tomorrow. The problem was that the first person I spoke to at this location billed them for me and never notified me.Today I called back to repeat the process for February and a different pharmacist told me I could only bill at-home tests through the app. This clearly isn't true - you can do it in person, on the phone, on the app, or on the website - but if I had known I could do this online in January I could have saved some time and sanity.
