I went in for an oil change and asked if they could check if I was due a tire rotation as well. I couldn't remember if it was done the last time. I could tell the serviceman was not interested in having to do one being as it was later in the day and a car waiting behind me. My service was extremely rushed, he told me that I did do a tire rotation the last time so not to worry about it. There was no regular check of my lights, breaks. He checked nothing under the hood but to only add new oil in it. I had to ask him to add wiper fluid, he did not put air in the tires. I left and noticed after the fact that for sure there was no added air in my tires, and checked my last invoice when I got home and no, I had not had a tire rotation the last visit so he lied to me. I went back the next day to address the situation and the manager did give me a free tire rotation and from there things were checked under the hood. While I appreciate the manager giving me a free service, I should not have been lied to by that employee. And the original service should not have been rushed and incomplete. I cannot say that I will ever go back to this location.

I was told they could do my transmission service even after telling the over the phone year make and model. I drove 40 minutes to only hear that they don't have enough Mercon LV transmomission fluid!

I’ve been going to this Valvoline location for a few years now & it’s always been great, however this past time I went they didn’t put my gasket back on. All of the oil poured out of my car & I didn’t realize til I was stranded on the side of the road. ☹️☹️ Luckily Kingshighway location was able to redo my oil change properly at no cost, & I got a refund from Tesson. I understand mistakes happen & I have sympathy for whoever’s behalf that fell on, I’m just upset that mistake could’ve costed me my car.

I visited the Tesson Ferry Valvoline location today. The gentlemen who took care of me today were such a pleasure to interact with. The employees working topside all had such a great rapport and a positive energy about them. I mostly interacted with Auston; he was helpful, funny, energetic, and engaged. As soon as I pulled into the bay, Auston was being sarcastic and making me laugh. Raso joined the conversation a few times and was also so friendly and fun. Excellent customer service experience. This is a great team working here currently! Keep it up, everyone! That Civic, though, guys?!?!

They wouldn't tell me how long the line was and I can go somewhere else so I did. I went to Walmart and got my oil changed. Seems strange to turn away business from possible customers in this kind of an economy but hey, whatever.

I contacted the store to find out how long their wait times were approximately and they treated it like it was a trade secret and you can't tell anybody. And then repeatedly explaining to me that the number of people in line could change before I get there as though lines are some new technology that most people are too stupid to understand how they work.I told them I'm not going to drive 20 mins. not knowing if there was a 15-ish minute wait or a 15-hour-ish wait. So I guess I'll just make a appointment somewhere else. They said okay and that was the end of it. They don't care if they're turning away customers.Okay, so I went ahead and made an appointment with Walmart of all places. ?I guess Valvoline instant oil change doesn't care if they have customers.

Everyone has knowledge, very personable, and gives you the best deal. I had a light on my dash say I was due for an oil change, but it was a short. My car truly wasn't due for an oil change we yet. They showed me how to disengage dash alert, checked my oil & fluids and filled my tires. No cost! Just great service! In 1000 miles I will be back there a 5th or 6th time to get my oil changed. Huge fan!!
