Holding true to the bad reputation, poor service and declining USPS, Shrewsbury Post Office is no exception. I only get my mail a few days week then the days are all crammed together and some of it is a week or more late. I put outgoing mail in my mailbox and they don't pick it up. Inside the post office the staff is not friendly. It's like it is barely tolerable for them to wait on people. I realize working with the public is not always a piece of cake but it is your job so if you don't like it then get out. After all, you are getting paid to provide a service. I think my next complaint will be to the news.

Where mail goes to die. They've lost 7 pieces of mail, including a tax return, in the past 6 months.

Went by this location today. There was a woman behind the desk telling people “have a blessed day”. THIS IS NOT YOUR CHURCH. We are not members of your faith or congregation. We respect your private faith, respect ours by keeping yours private.

I always experience positive customer service with polite and helpful staff. I have been going here many years.

2024 Update: Like the rest of the USPS, this branch is suffering from lack of staff. There is only one clerk on duty at the front counter. A PO Box is probably the best way to deal with residential delivery issues. It cuts out so many steps in the process.

Richard Gebhardt's gift to St. Louis Hills- a post office on the far east side of it's zipcode.
Great 24 hr PO Box lobby. Good service hours.

The customer service is unbelievably awful. This location is supposed to be open until 6:00 pm and that is exactly why I often travel out of my way in rush hour traffic to get my packages scanned in before 6:00. I do not get out of my job until 5:30 and that is why I travel to this location. My small business is affected everytime they close early. On three different occasions by two different employees they have told me to get there earlier or they would close early and they do. If you greet a postal worker or say thank you, most likely you just get a grunt. At the end of the day, on multiple occasions I have witnessed two postal workers throwing the packages so hard you can here it on the outside of the building.

This post office just sucks. I had a package delivered last week, got the key to the parcel box, key doesn't work. Ok, so inquire about it via phone calls and emails, left a note in my mailbox asking about it. Nothing. Week later, I go up to this post office because they service my area, get told they would bring the package up to my door. No package was ever brought up. I'm assuming it's been stolen. Either way, don't trust these people to deliver a package too successfully.

Horrible customer service. I've been missing mail for three weeks and talked to 4 differnet people about the issue and was told the carrier delivered to the wrong address and yet the mail is still missing when they claim the issue has been resolved. But yet my mail still isn't here. It'd be nice if they could deliver the mail THEY MISPLACED somehow from 3 weeks ago. Considering its from my union and could be important documents. It'd be nice if the mail delivery could do the one thing that it's supposed to do and deliver my mail. And the manager Amber is extremely rude and disrespectful

The Mackenzie Pointe MO post office has to be the worst post office on the planet. They have no clue how to forward mail or other basic tasks. Not helpful and not knowledgeable. Avoid at all costs.

I run a small business and drop off packages four to five days a week, so I'm here quite often. The office is clearly and badly understaffed. The people who work here do the best they can, but the post office routinely has one person working the counter when they really need two to three. That leads to long lines and very rude customers. Those very rude customers lead to burned out postal workers who are tired of being yelled at by the entitled elderly people who seem to flock here. The building is a factory of melancholy.Though I come here quite often, I try to spend as little time here as possible because the facilities are poor. I print shipping labels at my office and drop packages off, but even that can be a hassle because the collection box in the lobby is often broken or locked, and the line to see a clerk is often out the door. On more than one occasion, I've walked out after arriving because it would take me longer to drop off a package than it would take me to drive to the post office on Kirkwood Road.If you have another post office roughly the same distance away, go there. This place needs help.

I want to give a positive to this facility. I was expecting a delivery of an important item yesterday for my business. Tracking said my mailbox was unaccessible (even though I had received mail yesterday and today.) I went to the post office to inquire about it. The supervisor called me and said it may have been mis-delivered.. At 8:30 PM, my mail person (who I believe is new) showed up at my home with my item. I greatly appreciate the fact that my mail person would come back with my item on a Friday night at 8:30 PM. I understand they are changing things up here and mistakes happen, but this location and its personnel went out of their way to get my item to me. It's great to see people who still care. Thank you Shrewsbury USPS. You all are appreciated.

Terrible ghetto manager can be heard screaming at whoever in the back like they are children. I Was very embarrassed when I heard the African American lady yelling from the front to the back in front of my daughter. She needs better home training. I will start going to more professional office to ship off my packages
