We enjoy shopping at the U City Farmers Market year-round. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We were attracted by products that are organic, grass fed, free range, or fresh caught. In Winter 2024 (January-March) it is open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays 9:30-12:30. There is plenty of parking behind the building. They have a Winter Weather Warrior incentive program with a punch card; $5 Market Bucks after 4 visits and entry in a $100 prize drawing.See their web page or social media pages for more details.

Small but good. Things seemed reasonably priced and they had a couple really good hot food stalls as well for lunch.

Was good. Small but good. Variety is limited as you would expect from such a small place.

Its very small but still great. We may have gone on an off week but it was still enjoyable. There was a small petting zoo with a few animals. Couple food stands. Al in all it was a good time but could definitely use a couple more tents. Luckily its on the loop so there are plenty if other places to go to after the market if you're looking for more to do!

This is a very cute farmers market! They had a small petting zoo when we went. It was a little disappointing that it was so small. There were probably like 10 booths. The majority of them weren't selling fresh produce like we were hoping. A lot of people selling baked goods.

It's a very nice farmers market to check out (and a great place to spend money that stays local!) But I was disappointed that the website didn't have more information about which vendors to expect. I read on the website that they have "bread, artisanal meat, vegetables, fruits, pastries, coffee, and handmade goods" or something to that effect, but when I went on a Saturday in late May there was only pastries, coffee, and handmade gift items. I know it's early in the season for vegetables and fruits, but I was going hoping to buy fresh baked bread, jam, and artisanal meats to take on a hike. I could only find jam, and bread and meat isn't seasonal so I'm not sure why the website claimed they have those vendors. I think the group that organizes this farmers market could do a much better job with transparency.

Came to check out the market and weren't sure about the hours the first guy we talked to explained things really well. It was raining so we were sitting under the awning for a few minutes and some guy came up and told us that we had to leave because they were shutting down. Which I was confused because it's not like they were first of all ready to lock up right that second and also there's no lockable door it's just an open space. That really makes me want to go spend my money there yeah...will not be returning

I went there on a Saturday noon which was a mistake because it was so crowded that it made my shopping experience unpleasant. What I love about this place is it has a wide selection of organic goods. I also appreciated that the sales were pretty helpful that they came to help me finding the things I look for.

An interesting market made up of some of the best farmers and vendors in the Saint Louis Region.Midtown is a Growers and Makers Only Market, meaning that the farmers have raised/produced the lamb, chickens, pigs, beef, eggs, honey, cheese, salsa, pecans, black walnuts, peaches, blueberries, beets, melons, now featuring sprouts, onions, garlic, ocra, tomatoes of all color and size, corn, mushrooms, biodynamic products that they sell at the market and that most of the farmers are either fully organic or moving in that direction.Other makers and craft vendors are required to make what they sell from scratch: Winslows Home Baked Goods and Farm Products, Clementine Ice Cream, Old Ways soap, Ruministics Body Care, Pawtastics Pet products are locally produced products and there are a regular group of artisans that sell prints, tiles, scarves, jewelry, native tradition apothecaries, hand blown glass jewelry and the occasional author or hobbyist selling what they created...we've also hosted furniture makers.Big thing is that there is LIVE MUSIC featuring local musicians from 10:00am to 12:00-12:30ish every Saturday. The people that shop there are CWE, Clayton, Ladue, University City and Wash U. Students and a lot of young adults with children from the neighborhood who enjoy the safe and casual environment. The parking is free and easy to find if you come before noon..... it's a lot cooler in the summer to come early like by 8:30am.It's really a gourmet market and the vendors are vetted, they have to meet standards and follow the rules. Every vendor is unique! As are the shoppers and family day strollers!!!!
