Very upset with the management running these apartments. They will add charges randomly, without any records attached as to what those random charges are from. Also they recently went against the contract I signed, and added a couple utility bills that I was told I would not be paying for when I signed the lease, and showed up NOWHERE in my lease or my welcome letter utility costs list. Of course they have a lease in the clause, that leaves them not liable for the change & charges. There is a lot more to the story & issues here, but I wouldn’t recommend to a friend to live here. I was also told by current & past residents that management can be horrid before moving in & thought it couldn’t be that bad at that time. I was wrong. Also my fireplace hasn’t been working since the first week here, maintenance has come about 5 times & looked at it, turned it on(after I told them I can turn it on but the igniter Will go out randomly in 5-30 mins), my fireplace is still down currently. They have a large electric fencing outside the windows to keep the birds away, that has fallen partially off the building. This large electric fencing/wiring has fallen right outside my window completely destroying the nice view. This was something they were supposed to fix last summer, & it is still currently hanging in front of my window. Have talked with management multiple times about this, with no answer, solution, or even a time that they’ll start working on it.

Leased 13 apartments as a corporate lease. I have been calling daily to try to get in touch and they have an off site call center that answers but has no access to anything. They just leave messages with the office. I have been trying to get the final ledgers. If someone will get back to me I will update my review.

I am extremely disappointed with the poor customer service and lack of communication from the leasing team at The Toer at OPOP. I was interested in a penthouse unit and filled out a rental application. However, I never received any confirmation that my application was received, despite calling several times and speaking with numerous people through their unhelpful third-party vendor. My calls were always escalated to a manager with the promise of a call back, but I never received any return contact. After a week of phone tag with no updates, I had to cancel my application by issuing a stop payment. It's unacceptable that an application can go into a black hole like that with no accountability.Additionally, after reading other negative reviews highlighting similar communication issues and unresponsiveness, I'm relieved I won't be moving into The Toer after all. For anyone considering this building, don't expect reliable customer service. They clearly don't value transparency or their applicants' time. I suggest looking at the many other rental options in the city that know how to treat prospective residents professionally.

Edit: As of 12/5 which is 3 weeks after the company stated they processed my refund, I still have not gotten my deposit or heard anything about them sending it to me.I didn’t want to do this, but I have been calling and leaving messages/emails for over a month now about getting my security deposit back with no success. Everytime I call now I get redirected to an outsourced call center that has left multiple messages and still no answer. Upon reading other reviews, this seems to be common at this time.I’m just looking to get my security deposit back.

waste of time and lack of professionalism. went to tour the penthouse, and based on previous reviews we weren’t expecting to be blown away- yet we were blown away with how terrible of a 5 minute experience we had. upon arriving we were told that the unit we specifically wanted to see was not available to show due to damage by the previous tenant- and we insisted we didn’t mind to see since it’s the only unit with 2b/2b and we would not be in town again until time to move. she insisted they would not show us the unit we specifically requested to see when making the appointment to tour and they referred us to a loft style building to tour. no shock the reviews about management are terrible. i understand it may seem useless to write a review of a building that i’ve never lived in nor had the opportunity to tour, but just thought whoever is in charge should note that if your company is a hospitality focused company you should probably make sure whoever makes the first impression has some sense of what it means to be in the hospitality business, and isn’t completely dismissive and unfriendly.

I want to express my extreme dissatisfaction with this apartment building. I've been living here for a year, and I can't wait for my lease to be up. I've had numerous issues during my stay. Firstly, I moved out three months ago and still haven't received my deposit back despite maintaining the apartment in perfect condition. The new management team has been unresponsive and unhelpful. Some staff members, like Jordan Gamble and Libby, have been particularly unpleasant to deal with. I regret my decision to live here. The apartment building itself is in poor condition, with ongoing issues like bugs in various areas, a broken elevator for nearly a year, and a persistent weed smell in the hallways.Safety has been a major concern as well. I had to change my locks after an attempted break-in within the first month. The lack of security and the constant presence of homeless individuals in the building make it feel very unsafe. Moreover, the garage is not secure, and my car had its windows busted twice with no resolution or surveillance cameras. For the amount of money you pay, it's disappointing that there's no pool and the only thing you're really paying for is the view. I cannot recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a safe and peaceful living environment. Good luck in your search for a better place.

Not everything that glitters is gold, spend your money somewhere that actually cares about its residents. The second elevator has been broken the entire time I have lived here, which adds hella time to every trip because there’s 24 floors. People who do not live here often get into the building and wreck havoc. Our resident portal has the utility charges on it and I paid the building for my electric and BUILDING failed to pay my electric bill thus resulting in my electric being cut off. The building admitted fault but offered zero compensation for over 48 hours with no electric in my unit. They enforce the leases sporadically and pick and choose what rules can be broken. There are MULTIPLE airbnbs, which per the lease should not be allowed but they look the other way. DO NOT RENT HERE.EDIT: its very interesting that they want me to reach out to the SOCIAL MEDIA team when I have emailed multiple different levels at Envolve, Traci Thompson, Cindy Fitzpatrick, the president, Jeff Ezekiel. Not a single person has remedied the situation nor have they even emailed back.

I am deeply disappointed by the unprofessional behavior and lack of accountability exhibited by this apartment building management. They consistently cause issues but refuse to adequately remedy the situations. It's disheartening to see such a disregard for their tenants' well-being and satisfaction. I hope they improve their management practices in the future.

I lived in this building for a year and have just moved out. I have had several issues since before I was trying to move in. For example, I was notified that my apartment unit was changed on the day of arrival. The new unit, however, was not at all cleaned. Nor was it painted. (And they never painted my unit for the entire year of my tenancy.) Also, the dishwasher was unusable. The sink disposal was incredibly weak and kept flooding etc. It was simply not ready for a new tenant to come in. But I put up with everything because it was so difficult to convince the management office that I needed a dishwasher that I can close its door to run the machine and that I needed a disposal that does its job. They did give me some help with the dishwasher and disposal; however, instead of trying to give me some genuine help, they often times berated me that I shouldn’t make an unreasonable request about the dishwasher and that it was my fault to put egg shells into the disposal to cause flooding. But I was left baffled thinking what the use of disposal was when it could not even grind such brittle things like an egg shell… in any case, I put up with all these. This was mainly because whenever I raised issues, the management came at me to basically scold me like I was a child. (I will not try to bring up the issue of race here, but I could not help but think that they were often speaking down on me in a tone that was extremely disrespectful, if not disciplinary… I teach at WashU and I never speak to my own students in such a tone. And it was simply beyond my comprehension why they spoke to me in such a tone…) In any case, now I am trying to get my security deposit back and was emailing multiple times and leaving multiple voice messages in the past month. But I am left in the dark, not hearing any updates. I always paid my rent on time. It’s hard to understand why they are treating me like this, holding on to my security deposit for a month at this point.

If I could give this complex a -5, I would. This complex has no regard for their residents, especially when it comes to safety. I visit my best friend here all the time and something is always broken whether its the elevator, the glass door meant to protect residents from intruders, etc. I have a dislocated knee cap, I can't take the steps so there have been times where I couldn't even visit her because the elevator was down. On top of the fact, that I guess under new management they have not paid the electric bill with the money my friend has been paying them for the last few months. My friend has been without electricity for 2 days with not a hint of resolution from the building staff or apartment manager. On top of, my friend having submitted multiple service requests to fix her washer, her microwave, etc and no one has come to fix it in over a month. That is beyond ridiculous, and has become a crazy inconvenience that no one seems to be taking seriously. They're lucky I'm not the resident because I would be breaking my lease without repercussions due to their continuous breach of contract with their unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, poor communication, and just overall poor financial management. Especially when they're saying they can't find the money my friend paid, yet they see it in their system under her account. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!

While I don’t regret living here, I think it’s worthwhile to be aware of all the inconveniences that come with living at the Tower at OPOP.Parking garage – it’s located across the street so if its rainy, cold, snowy, etc. you’ll have to walk through the elements to get to your car. My neighbor had his car stolen out of the garage and I had my golf clubs stolen out of my car as well. There’s security, but they aren’t helpful or able to keep the garage secure.Mail – I’d say about half a dozen of my packages have been lost over 3 years here. If your package gets left outside the building, it’s probably a goner. Also, a lot of times the leasing office leaves packages locked in the office instead of taking them to the mail room at the end of the day so on numerous occasions my package had been delivered but I couldn’t get it because it was locked away in leasing office instead of the mailroom.Elevators - Only 1 elevator has been available for 98% of the time the last 1.5 years. This is an inconvenience that leads to an extra 2-3 minutes to go up or down the building, which adds up when I already have to walk 4-5 minutes to my car in the parking garage across the street. If I’m paying a premium to live here I would anticipate there being more than 1 elevator working to handle 24 floors of apartments. Also, the only working elevator is very finnicky, and my friends got stuck in it on New Years Eve. Which caused NO elevators to be working on a 24 floor building on a holiday.Air Bnb - There was an Air Bnb next to me that caused several frustrating situations – including partying during the day on weekdays (loud music and marijuana smell entering my apartment on a Tuesday at 9AM while I’m trying to work), and another time someone from the Air Bnb puked onto my balcony furniture. I got in contact with the leasing office and Air Bnb to ask for retribution for the puke all over my stuff. The leasing office told Air Bnb NOT to clean it up because I already had (which I hadn’t and told them beforehand I didn’t want to). The leasing office said sorry for saying NO to the cleaning and that they would get me a gift card as retribution, but never did.Security – non-residents got into the building and set off all fire alarms by spraying fire extinguishers in the building lobby at 12:10am new years, causing the whole building to have to evacuate for an hour (the same night my friends got stuck in the elevator and caused there to be NO working elevators for the whole 24 floor building). Another time, one late night, 2 girls knocked on my door and upon opening, one rushed in and after about 5 seconds I realized I was in the middle of an attempted robbery. Luckily I had friends over to defend me and nothing bad ended up happening but still concerning to have to worry about that. Instead of paying for a security guard, they just shut down access to cool parts of the building in the early evening like the clubhouse – which closes at like 7pm on the weekends. In fact, instead of paying for a security guard, they just closed the clubhouse altogether for 5 days straight over July 4th weekend in 2023.Overall, I understand that many of the things I’m describing above are out of control of the management of the building, but there just seems to be a general lack of mindfulness or awareness, which leads to a lot of unnecessary inconveniences. Even during my move out they told me I had a reservation for the freight elevator but when I double checked the day before they weren’t sure what I was talking about. Apparently, there was a new online portal for making freight elevator reservations, but you’d think that they would either a) tell me to make a reservation on my own in the portal or b) go ahead and make the reservation in the portal if they said they had me down. The building views and some of the amenities are nice but not nice enough to deal with constant negligence.

We have been residents since 2018 at Tower OPOP, which is now managed by 2B Residential; we filed complaints regarding many issues, which include tenants breaking the non-smoking policy, stinking up the whole floor; a tenant having a nail salon business in their apartment which sent toxic chemicals throughout the floor and in our apartment, causing headaches, breathing issues, and nausea; luckily, these same tenants abandoned their apartment; unfortunately, the apartment not cleaned for about 2 months; the tenants had rotten food in their refrigerator which caused pest to thrive and engulf the whole floor (see image); other issues include one of two elevators being down for over 6 months; key fob system to main door, mailroom, clubhouse, and gym not functioning; the only exception was for the main door, they were able to program it so you can enter a 4 digit code to access the building; regarding the elevator and key fob system, everytime we complained we got the response that the systems/parts are so unique; therefore, that's why it takes so long to fix... Other issues concern the non-existent security, which puts everyone at risk; in fact, random youngsters accessed the building a couple of times and discharged the fire extinguisher in the lobby area causing a mess; however, our greatest security concern which is the cause for my family to submit 60 day notice; is the fact that 2B Residential let's a 3rd party company rent out some of their apartments for days at a time; the 3rd party company rented out the next door to our apartment; one night, the people who were renting the apartment caused psychological and almost physical damage to my family (see image); when reported to 2B Residential management we acknowledged it was unacceptable, provided our 60 day notice, and asked to have the last months rent be waived or paid by the 3rd party company due to what occurred, 2B Residential management said they tried contacting the 3rd party partner that rents the apartments; however they did not respond; I requested they communicate with them on multiple occasions and I got the same answer from 2B Residential; I asked 2B Residential management for compensation or have the last months rent waived without penalty; since the issue occured at their property; 2B Residential did not take any accountability and said there is nothing they can do; currently, I am paying rent for a new apartment while still paying last months rent for OPOP Tower; during my tenure, there has been delay, excuses, and no accountability; for those who are thinking about renting, RUN!!!

We have been residents of OPOP Tower since 2018; since then, we had neighbors who constantly smoked "herbs" in the non-smoking building; in one instance, management was willing to relocate us in the building; however, shortly thereafter, new management took over and new tenants moved in; unfortunately, the new tenants constantly smoked "herbs" therefore, the whole floor smelled like "herbs"; to add injury to insult, they also ran a nail salon in their apartment, the whole floor smelled like toxic chemicals when it didn't smell like herb; the chemicals engulfed our apartment via interconnected air ducts this caused my family and I to constantly have headaches and nausea, requiring my wife and children to leave the apartment all times of the day to get fresh air; we complained many times to management; however, no actions were taken; luckily, they abandoned their apartment; unfortunately, they left food in their refrigerator to rot; then, bugs began to appear and engulf our floor (see image); for months we complained, and were ignored; finally new management (current) took over and cleaned out the apartment and had pest control get rid of the pest; then, we had only one of two elevators functioning for over 3 months, this has caused many safety concerns; especially, when, someone got locked the only elevator on New Years Day; we kept getting the same excuse why it was taking so long for the elevator to get fixed; as of last week the the downed elevator began to work without notification or apology/accountability; additionally, during the same time (last 3-4 months) the security key fobs to access the building (including mail and gym) did not work; to access the the building we had to manually key a code into the exterior security box; many times; especially, in the freezing cold this did not work; during the time, the system was not fully functional, we were told they had multiple vendors service the system but no one could fix it because it is a magical security system; about 3 weeks ago the system was fixed, not replace; in addition, to security systems failing, security is non-existent, you would be lucky to see a consistent (daily) security guard presence; moreover, OPOP Tower relies on 3rd party rental agencies to make up for the vacancies; recently, there were people parting in the 3rd party rental next door; upon party goers leaving a fight broke out; a few weeks later another group rented out the apartment next door, this time someone had an argument and shot a weapon (picture can not be uploaded due to graphic nature of image) we went ducking for cover; luckily none of us were struck, this could have easily ended the life of my beautiful wife or children; of course, there is no security onsite and to contact the police you have to risk your life by going downstairs to let them in; since, the incident, we have been living in constant fear and have decided to move; unfortunately, in order not to break our lease we could not move immediately; we asked for compensation due to us having to move and OPOP management said she would speak with the 3rd party rental company who rents out their vacant apartment, OPOP manager said the 3rd party rental company never responded; then, I asked the OPOP manager if they could waive our last month rent without enforcement of early termination since OPOP is responsible for enabling the 3rd party the rental company; the OPOP the manager said she spoke to her manager and they cannot do anything; now, I am paying last months rent and rent at our new apartment and we have not received any compensation from OPOP due to the incident that occured in THEIR building; in all OPOP Tower does not have their tenants best interest in mind, they have dropped the ball regarding, security, timeliness, and accountability, which has affected our safety and well being; if you value you and your families life, choose an organization who values your safety and takes accountability.

The new managers are horrible and are trying to scam people. Maintenance will walk in your apartment without you calling them and touch everything. The managers are extremely rude and will try to take your furniture when you’re moving out. I HAD CAMERAS IN MY OWN APARTMENT TO FEEL SAFE!!! As someone who works in customer service I’ve NEVER met management who was so rude.

LDR; Do not move here - spend your hard-earned money at other properties that don't have theft, and doesn't lack consistency and communication.Details:1.) When I initially moved into the Tower at Opop, my unit was beyond dirty - they (Management) had to credit my account for me to bring in separate cleaners to ensure that it was properly cleaned (if needed, I'm sure i can access my account someway and reflect the credit to provide the validity of this statement)2.) The parking situation is terrible. If you are out late, you have to walk about a block up to get to the property. Additionally, and most importantly, my car was stolen out of the "secured" parking garage that they provide tenants. Luckily it was recovered in Southern Missouri and waiting for it to be fixed at the autobody shop. (I can give the police report to prove the validity of this statement)3.) I had Tempurpedic Mattress delivered to the mailroom while I was away, and unfortunately, that was stolen, and unfortnatelty, Management seemed not to care one bit. I asked Management if they could run the cameras (they have postings everywhere that the room is being watched/recorded for theft...) back to view who may have done it so i could get the police involved as that mattress cost me over 2200 dollars - and they stated they don't have access to the cameras... the previous Management does.?? And they requested that I, the tenant, get the police to contact the previous manager and have him hand over how to access the cameras?? I'm confused because isn't that something that they should be doing? If they genuinely cared about the safety of their tenant's mail and property? Idk4.) Lack of Consistency and Lack of Communication - I have since moved from that property and would like to close out my account. I moved out on a sunday for context and no management was there. So today, I went back to hopefully close out my account (i called a week before set up a walk-through and to do anything else that needed to be done.. when i called last week, they said they would call me back.. I never got a call... so I went in today, and very rudely, the manager mentioned that they have 30 days to make contact - which I wasn't aware of... IF they had communicated that to me, I would've taken a different approach and waited.. she then mentioned that I should've called as that is what she would've done instead of coming in.. (I did call but they didn't pick up the phone so that's why I came in person?) Additionally, I wanted to get any mail that may have been sitting in my mailbox - she then stated that it was a federal offense to get my mail out of the mailbox and when I mentioned that isn't the same law that was being upheld prior as I was able to get access to my mailbox before by Management, she confirmed that previous Management broke the law and it doesn't have anything to do with her.I won't go into the other issues I had, but I think the above three should be enough.
