Absolutely 10/10. The staff were amazing, helpful, kind, professional and personable. Three rooms with plenty to look at! I went in with the purpose of stocking my bar glasses and was not disappointed. Even if I was just wandering in I could find something to buy in there. Classic mid-century decor and furniture that looks in great shape. Will be coming back again and again!!!

very rude and a loud barking dog who “doesn’t like kids”
edit to add- barking dog has nothing to do with the store policy of holding kids hands and yelling out “be sure to hold your kids hand” is not a polite way of reminding patrons. It’s also a very unrealistic and ludicrous policy, particularly for a business that has unfriendly dogs yelping constantly in the store (which I would add, happened before they saw a child).
Perhaps consider a “you break it, you buy it” policy instead and develop some customer service skills. There are many other vintage stores in the area with far better service. Take your money elsewhere!

I love this store. I purchased a beautiful bedroom set from them a few years ago and make it a point to come in whenever I’m in the area.
Owners/staff are always helpful and friendly. The dogs are a treat to see.

My girl said 'it smells like grandma's house in here'. And it actually has the things that were in grandma's house. You're gonna pay top dollar but you're not gonna find those things anywhere else.

Loved the store. Loved the dogs. Loved the guy working! This store was everything and I will most definitely go back the next time I'm in St. Louis! Mid-century dream come true!

Found this hidden gem in South city last weekend with my daughter. So many wonderful pieces I could spend hours in there! Parking is a little confusing but we figured it out. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Pretty reasonable prices for most things. Super helpful owners/staff. Not just furniture. They have a rather extensive collection of antique kitchen stuff.

Great shop full of retro goods and a big selection of furniture. Everything here is in good shape. Not a junk shop. You might not find too many “bargains” as it’s more curated than some shops full of odds and ends. Don’t know if they haggle, we bought a couple things, but paid sticker as the prices seemed fair. Right across from the Donut Drive In

TFA is a great place to find the Fifties, Mid-Century Modern, Sixties, Seventies, and sometimes Art Deco.Claude is very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about what you're looking for if you have a specific treasure you looking to find. Prices are reasonable and he gets new treasures all the time. If you're looking for specific kitchen items along with living room items, every accessory for your bar, and decorative decor.Living room furniture, kitchen furniture, credenza, cabinets, hassocks, desks, light fixtures, lamps you name it Claude most likely has it for you. This shop is one of my favorites and I know the owner as well, which makes it even more enjoyable. It's definitely, a must-stop to see what it offers, you won't regret it and it's huge inside don't let looks deceive you.Support your locally owned businesses to keep them in our communities.Parking in the back, just go to the stop sign by Le Grand & make a left, then go thru the alley past the Firehouse over to the back of the store, plenty of parking.
