This used to be my Go-to store up to like five years ago. Always felt safe going here and loved to bring the kids just to browse and shop. Probably stopped by once a week. Then covid hit and it really went downhill. Don't feel safe in the parking lot and would never park in the enclosed lot. When I was leaving a police care pulled up and two policemen came rushing in....The shelves are often a bit bare or a mess. I placed an order for pick up recently. That was so confusing. You had to walk to the back of the store and stand and wait for an associate to help, no desk area. It definitely was not a quick process. Today I was there and they only had one checkout lane which had six people waiting at and the self serve (which I prefer to use) checking area that had five stations but there was a really long line down the store. Had to be about 20 people waiting. They need to have more check out available so you don't have to wait so long to give them your money. Hoping their staffing issues get solved soon.

I shop at Target for certain items I can't get at Walmart. Target is also n walking distance from my house.

Pretty clean store. Food prices are a little high but most everything else is a fair price. Lines at the register can be a bit long, but they move at a moderate pace. Parking is easy to get into because there's a stoplight by one of the roads into the parking garage.

I am in the market for a new computer. While here at the target on Hampton I thought I would try and buy a new computer. Here are the options target has.

Only good thing I have to say about this Target is is it's pretty much the only store in the area that will generally have whatever you need. That said, the bar is not that high for this area. Also, this is probably one of the worst Targets I've ever been to across several states. I think the one Metairie Louisiana is the only one I've been to that's worse! The employees are nice generally, although some of them don't need to be working there. Especially when I need help in the health and beauty section. Some of these generation Z kids think that they are getting paid to just stand there and not do anything and look at me like I'm a bother when they should be walking the customer to the item. That's what I always had to do when I worked in retail. The selection for clothes and shoes and what not it's really not that great. Target used to have really good clothing buyers 20 years ago but I guess that's no longer the case. Furthermore, even though employees are usually diligently stocking the shelves, they always seem to be out of everything. It was one day I came and there was no lactose free milk to speak of. it was in the morning also, not like in the evening when a lot of stuff is out. That is unacceptable. It's a standard grocery item that should never be out of stock. To add insult to injury, the mousy little girl working that department acted like I was being a huge bother merely by asking her for help, but instead of going to the back and checking like a good employees do, the brat just looked in her little computer and said that there were supposed to be 33 on the floor but oh they're not here so too bad. She doesn't need to be working there. So unprofessional. The thing that made me angry enough to write this review is that at the self check out I was asked to show my ID for an item that is NOT legally age restricted. I know what the laws are about these different products and ingredients that trigger that sort of thing. When you are purchasing cold medicine, there are two ingredients that warrant the checking of an ID. One of those is DXM or dextromethorphan, the active ingredient in cough syrup. The other one is pseudoephedrine. Only those two ingredients are age restricted. Absolutely nothing else. However, some slime ball coded a Vicks throat spray product as age restricted when it contains all NEITHER of those ingredients. The active ingredients in the product are menthol and benzocaine, and neither of those ingredients are age restricted in the state where I live or any other state in which I have lived. Thankfully I had a copy of my ID on my phone because I had only brought my debit card inside with me. And the thing is, the only employees who ever seem to last around there are the robotic ones that are terrible at interacting and communicating. Like most retail stores, the less personality and the more incompetent they are, the longer they remain employed there. This has got to be intentional because I know that corporations would rather have robot like humans working for them than people who actually have a light on upstairs. How do I know this? I used to be a sales lead for a limited brands. At least if I was at certain grocery stores I would have been able to argue with them and point out this error, but I know that arguing with these robot humans is no more effective than yelling at a computer when it rejects your correctly formatted formatting. I only shop here because I have to sometimes, but I strongly recommend just taking your business to a grocery store or Amazon. I hate recommending Amazon but that's how awful all the stores are in my area. but seriously, whatever incompetent numbskull coated the Vicks throat spray as an age restricted items... Wake up and get a clue. Mental and benzo cane are not age restricted in the state of Missouri. You should be ashamed of yourself. edit: I had to add that the bathrooms are consistently disgusting. There is always paper all over the floor, urine on the seats, and a lot of times there is unfl

To be apart of the majority I just say that Target is one of my favorite places (besides Trader Joe's and Costco lol). It doesn't help that I live so close, bad news for the wallet, but good for a convenience and the sometimes needed mood boost :) I come here once every week to two weeks, and I will say it is definitely consistent. This target is the only one in the city (unless I'm wrong) so it gets A LOT of traffic. Overall, it is clean and well kept. Products fly off the shelves fairly often, especially the groceries. Definitely recommend getting there early- mid week if you're planning on doing any type of grocery shopping and really counting on specific products being there. Their clothing and shoes are very well organized, I've been to some locations where there isn't much organization- so the staff is definitely working super hard. I'm also a big fan of all the perks they offer- drive up, red card, and circle! Who doesn't love saving some cash. I also love the Starbucks inside of this location- they are so kind and helpful.

Hampton Village is a GREAT Target! Very clean. Super friendly and helpful staff. The order pickup was a little weird (my first time). Next time, I’ll definitely download the Target app and use the drive up service (the area for that is in the other front corner - opposite the main store entrance). There’s a CVS + Ulta in store. Everything seemed to be well-stocked. Definitely a true 5 out of 5 shopping experience… both online and in-store. :)

Hello fellow Target enjoyers, if you’re having a good day and you find yourself approaching the self checkout line and you see awoman named Monica with a mole that has multiple hairs coming from it just know she is never in a good mood, she is unapproachable, and rude to all customers and Shipt shoppers. Beware and enjoy your shopping experience.

Rude staff. Not helpful in any department. I will not be back. And it sucks because I supply most of my needs through target for my donut shops, paper towels, toilet paper things like that. Things that I do not go to restaurant depot for. But now I will go to Sam’s Club or somewhere else to find the things I need at a cheaper price instead of going to the store that’s conveniently close to me because the staff wants to be argumentative and disrespectful.

Need to update their hours on Apple Maps. Went into the store already knowing what I needed and EVERY target worker reminded me that the store closes in 10mins. Then to have a worker going around yelling to the moon “we close in five mins go to the register” was very unnecessary. Like I get it you wanna go home but as you said I have 10 mins so…

Great for online orders and curbside pickup. In-store experience, not so much. What happened to periodically asking guests if they need help finding anything? I get why the store is re-arranged around the Holidays from a Marketing lens, but if I can’t find what I’m looking for and your team is heads down with headphones on avoiding human interaction, I’m leaving without buying anything, which is what I did today.
