This circa 1930s gas station is extremely cool, and you can still get gasoline (BP) there today! The employees are friendly, and the prices are what you'd expect in a convenience store. It's a small building, so when there's more than 2 or 3 customers in there it gets pretty tight. The crowd really didn't bother me, as everybody in there was pleasant and cooperative.

I've only been thru on foot when walking to the grocery store and the Cathedral, it was perfect place to dip in and grab smokes/soda. . I really wished I had found this place near the sand of southern California after spending so much time within the walls of the hospital, but was no further dissatisfied in my decisions to stop on any trip thru. The Beach behind the counter always had a warm sincere enough smile as She's waved me the 🗝️ to a washroom. I've never found foul. Entire place always very tidy & never heard my husband say he was short changed or been on the receiving end of any short temper while paying for usually cigarettes or soda. Seemed a Self-service fuel station conveniently located behind the medical buildings of the local University surrounding the hospital off Forrest Park about a block or so in the bubbles of apartments. It's built between those same apartments which liter the back alleys of small business and lies like the back yard of down town St. Louis. A mom N pop full-service gas N get go thats got a rocking 50s vibe.
