I will NEVER shop at Home Depot or Lowe’s again unless I’m forced to for some reason. Schnars has 10/10 customer service. Let me tell you about my great experience.I needed a new weed eater so I walked into Schnars. I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who I believe is named Jacob. Not in an aggressive sales way, but more of a helpful greeting.I set my sight on what looked like a pretty good deal, but was kindly directed to an even better deal which would save me money and get me a blower, weed eater, and 2 batteries for a great price, which turned out to be an obvious choice. They threw in a free Echo hat just because they are nice . Honestly, I needed another hat, so I was happy.Turns out I forgot the second battery that came with the set. A few hours later I was SHOCKED to see that the same gentleman showed up to my door step just to personally deliver the battery to me. Who even gives such great customer service anymore?Anyway, I felt compelled to leave this review because I’ve now been there like 10 times and have had a great experience each time.

Very friendly and helpful staff but I probably paid an extra 50-75% for my radiator fluid compared to O'Reilly's.

Schnarrs is a lovely place to get everything you need, recently I've had great experiences with all of the senior employees but as well as very good interactions with some of their new cashiers. The blonde young woman was a specific stand out, as well as the two young men with brown hair that sometimes work together. I believe one referred to the other as jack.

Like most of the small, family owned, neighborhood hardware stores, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they'll have or can get some items you can't find anywhere else. We were doing a job that required four small railing post bases. We had tried the big box hardware stores, but they didn't stock these anymore. Schnarr's didn't have them in stock, but they found a source and got what we needed in just a few days.

Very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. They pack a lot into a small space. Much nicer environment than big box stores. Tricky vehicle egress at rush hour but doable.

I needed a string trimmer and a few other yard tools for my daughter. They were open Sunday, and a gentleman set me up with an awesome Stihl trimmer. Knowledgeable staff! They beat the big box joints for service every time!

If you don't mind paying a little extra for actual customer service and advice (I don't), shopping at Schnarrs is convenient, fast, and has always had exactly what I needed. Anyone who is tired of walking miles through parking lots and aisles of mysterious items you'll never need, and employees who might be able to tell you where to look, but can't really help with advice on a project, Schnarrs is for you.

I went to Home Depot first and got so frustrated because the place was so unorganized and staff was so uneducated on what I needed, they told me to go to Schnarr's. I walked in, one of the staff greeted me and I explained my issue. Less than 5 minutes later at a cost of $4.65 my issue was fixed. If you have a issue go here, shop locally owned businesses, they care what they do and how they do it. I should of just went here first!!!!Thank you Schnarr's.
