Not only is the selection and ambiance delightful, but the owner is a treat too! He's so knowledgeable and kind. He's eager to help you find the right beer for you, and generous with tastings. When a guest from out of town visits, I'll often bring them to Hop Shop and purchase them a six pack of their choice to enjoy while in our home. It's a fun and engaging shopping experience.

We were visiting St Louis from
Chicago and staying two blocks away from Hop Shop and I regret only stopping in once. I had a lovely glass of rosé at the bar and bought a few bottles of wine and a six pack of Habesha beer from the shop to enjoy at the anirbnb. The owner is cool and knowledgeable and the shop and bar area is comfortable and inviting. 100% would recommend and return.

This shop is top notch. The owner is incredibly nice and helpful. We usually come out once a year for a Halloween convention and we will definitely be coming back when we are in town.

They are always super friendly and helpful. We always find a new favorite. This time was the sampler pack from Boulevard. Love the mix and match six pack options. The variety is great from mead, wine, cider, and beer.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting STL Hop Shop for the first time to support DJ Ferg and Volumes Speaks during their collaboration with the store and Northside Soul. Let me tell you, it was an exceptional experience that left a lasting impression on me.From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The place was buzzing with excitement, and the positive energy was contagious.One of the standout aspects of STL Hop Shop is their remarkable craft beer selection. I was thrilled to see such a diverse and well-curated collection of local and regional brews. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their offerings, making recommendations based on my preferences and guiding me toward new and exciting flavors. It's evident that they take pride in showcasing the best of what the local craft beer scene has to offer.As an artist myself, I was particularly drawn to the artwork displayed throughout the shop. The walls were adorned with captivating pieces created by talented local St. Louis artists. It was inspiring to see the creativity and skill of my fellow artists on full display. The combination of great beer,music, and stunning artwork created a dynamic and engaging environment that truly celebrates the vibrant arts and culture scene of St. Louis.Most likely will return and continue supporting the local talent while enjoying the fantastic offerings of STL Hop Shop.
