These people go way beyond what I witness at other banks. I have never once walked through the door without each employee greeting me. It is wonderful to be doing my business at my Regions Bank in Oakville. Cindy even called to check in on my wife when she has surgery. Where else do you get that kind of personal banking relationship?

We have banked here for years and Cindy, Brian, Marcia and the others are courteous and professional. They take time to get to know their patrons and spend time to help work through problems or concerns we may have. To reach the branch directly, you must go in and ask for the direct number. It's the Regions policy (not the local branch) to connect people to the automated center.

I used to love this bank. I have banked here for years, since it was Union Planters. However, now i cannot reach anyone by telephone. The only number goes to an automated line. For this reason we opened an account at a credit union and will be closing this account this week. We prefer to have our money in a place we can call and talk to a live person. After all, its our livelihood they have and we want a personal relationship with our financial institution.

After 10 years of loyal patronage, and receiving none (loyalty) in return, and getting nothing but terrible customer service, this is an email that I sent corporate today: It seems as though we are moving toward a society where big business is far less concerned with customer service/satisfaction. I have been a loyal customer for over ten years, and continue to be let down and disappointed by the lack of caring/consideration shown to me by Regions employees, particularly at the local level. Any issue or assistance that I have required from anybody with Regions here locally (dist. mgr. etc), I have been met with no caring, compassion, empathy, or concern whatsoever. Today, in reference to a hardship Ive encountered due to a simple/honest mistake (that I was able to rectify immediately upon noticing, I was told that the bank would not be able to help me recoup any part of hundreds of dollars of fees because "it's not our fault sir". This apparently told to a local branch mgr by his area supervisor. My experience with Regions will always be remembered as "corporate greed from the top down", and no observance of the human element in its communities. I doubt that anyone on that end cares (because Im just a # right?), but I'll be closing my account with Regions after over ten years, and headed over to the local credit union, where people are still "people", and they value the customers that support them, by supporting them in return.
