I am on sending my third kid here. I love this daycare. My kids are always happy to go here and my daughter prefers to be there than staying home with me an extra day when she can. It's always been clean, the staff friendly, and when I have popped in unexpectedly every thing is amazing. The price is affordable and I love the pictures they send throughout the day.

Amazing daycare! My oldest now 6 went there starting at 18 months until kindergarten, she still attends during the summer and during the school year when she is off. I currently have my 16 month old there, he started at 12 weeks old. Everyone who works there treat my children as their own. They love and nurture them as I would at home. I was very nervous about sending my children to any daycare. I interviewed a ton of daycares, I asked all the same questions to each one. Planet Childcare stood out for multiple reasons; it is clean, the children to teacher ratio is adequate, they are all cpr certified and able to answer all my annoying nurse questions with out hesitation, but the biggest reason is when I was interviewing them one of my questions were “what makes this daycare better than the others?” All of the other daycares gave me their resume, planet childcare stated “we love children and enjoy seeing and helping them hit milestones”.I highly recommend this daycare. Thank you Planet Childcare for taking such good care of my children over the past 5 years!

I worked at this daycare for 13 years the only reason I left was because I had children of my own and chose to stay home. I visit often and my daughter loves being there when we go! If I had to send my children to daycare this is the only one I would ever consider! There is a very family friendly environment and, as I worked there I know, every family is treated with the same amount of respect and care! The owner is very accommodating to each family’s needs and wants! And the staff will work accordingly to meet those needs! I highly recommend taking a tour today if you are looking for a quality daycare that will always make you feel like you are bringing your child to a second home!

Planet Child Care is awesome!!! All 4 of my kids attended Planet from the time they were 6 weeks old. I love the friendly staff and family atmosphere! They have a great curriculum that prepares the kids for Kindergarten, a great School Age Program & an amazing Summer Program full of field trips & activities. I have and will continue to recommend Planet Child Care.

One of the finest child care facilities in Oakville. They've been in business for over 18 years and have nice teachers, good curriculum and a variety of activities to make the children happy. I put three of my own children through Planet Child Care, four nephews, a niece and two grandchildren. They offer value and safety for the parents and children.

Not pleased with this place. Whenever I walked into the establishment I am rarely greeted and stared at. My children have not attended this daycare in a year. The problem that I am having is that they won't pay me my money that they owe. I asked for and account slip for tax purposes in Feb. I noticed that I had a balance and I thought that I it was something that I had to pay so I called them. Karen let me know that it was money that was owed to me and that she would call me back. Remind you that my kids have not attended this daycare in almost a year so had I not received my account balance I would have not known this. It is now almost 2 months and I have not heard anything back. I call a couple times a week and Im always told Karen is in another room or she is not there and that they will give her a note. It should not take 2 months to return a phone call. I have never been late with any payment and was always a good customer. If it was a balance that I owed then my kids would have been put out. I feel like this is bad business and that if i was owed anything it should have been paid back to me within a couple of months after i withdrew my children. Now i have to drive an unnecessary 2hrs to talk to someone in person due to the fact that my message is not getting passed along or ignored.

I was pretty reluctant to write a review about this place due to the fact I had a friend who not only referred me but worked here. The first time I came to look at the place I was greeted by nothing less than a stale cracker. Karen, the office manager I assume, attempted to show my husband and I around the day care with little to no enthusiasm. Our questions we vaguely answered to say the least. The only thing that kept me interested in the place was the fact that I knew someone who knew my son and I and that made me feel comfortable. When I left my initial visit I was given paperwork to fill out. I started my son right around the new year where he was enrolled for three day which in result with one of those days being a day where the day care was closed. No one explained to me that tuition would be the same regardless of it being shut down or not and this being my first time putting my son in daycare I was not aware. I messaged the daycare trying to understand why I was paying for a day that he was not even able to go and I was told numerous times to refer to their handbook. Confused I kept questioning where is stated in the paperwork I was given where it was. Karen dismissed my question as if explaining to me what I didn't understand was a waste of time. The next day I brought my son and was actually given the handbook that explained everything which was never given to me in the beginning. Because of Karen, we decided to take my son out of this daycare. Because of Karen, and her lack of personality I was completely turned off of this daycare. Other teachers may be great. But I personally could not get past my initial visit and the terrible service provided to the parents. I could not get past sending my son somewhere, where I myself couldn't get help or questions answered.

As some other reviewers have said, the management and people who greet you at the door are not very nice. The infant room teachers were mostly smokers. I don't know if they are allowed to go outside and smoke during the day, but it sure seems like it. Many of the teachers I could smell smoke on from several feet away....this is one of the bigger reasons we left. I don't want my 9 month old inhaling smoke all day. It was a common sight to see teachers out in front of the door smoking one last cigarette before work. PEOPLE....YOU WORK AROUND KIDS....DON'T SMOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One day my wife showed up to pick my daughter up early. She was sleeping in a swing with a bib still on, covered in food even though lunch was two hours earlier. Yeah, they didn't even clean her up after lunch. And the worst part is that she NEVER likes her swing at home. So, I know she went to sleep screaming. One time I picked her up and she had clearly been crying for a long long time. She had the "hiccup" thing for the next entire hour (she NEVER had it that bad before). I felt awful. Even after two weeks there, she still cried and screamed everyday at dropoff. Silly me, I thought this was just normal. But, we took her out of Planet, put her in another daycare right down the street, and by the SECOND day, she was happy to go back. She hasn't screamed at dropoff since. This is just the start of issues that we had with Planet (in only a two week period!). When we told them we weren't coming back, they tried to make us pay one weeks worth of care. HA! I told them no, and they tried to make us a deal to pay for half. I told them no again. They tried to make it sound like they were going to sue us for it. Haha, just wait until I explain to the judge what they put my daughter through! When we went to pick up our daughter's belongings, they lost her blanket and two changes of clothes. She was only there for two weeks! How could they have lost everything! But, we finally had the answer to why she was constantly sent home in other children's clothes and bibs.Save yourself lots of time and frustration, and go somewhere else! This place is terrible.
