Treats Unleashed
1620 S Hanley Rd, St. LouisI came here looking for a dog food that my dog would actually eat. Well we found some they lady's were very helpful and they also told me if he won't eat this bag of dog food then bring it back until we find one that he likes and will eat. What business has ever did that!! I'm very pleased with this store and prices are good too. Kind of hard finding a parking spot when it's busy around there but it's worth it!! They have anything you would need for a dog or cat. Their treats are amazing looking and smell amazing they are all home made cookies my dog loves them he always has to leave with at least a couple of them. lol I did bring back the first dog food that we got and they took it back with no issues and helped me find another one that he might like no extra charge or anything very pleased with them I'm sure everyone else will be too

Four Muddy Paws
1711 Park Ave, St. LouisI take my dogs in on Sundays from 11-2 when the groomer is there for nail trims. I don't remember the groomers name, but she is excellent! My dogs do not like getting their nails trimmed, but she must be a dog whisperer because they have behaved, so far. It's $16 for a drimmel (?) trim, and worth every penny....the store itself is very cute. They have every need for your dog covered along with a bathing area, and a bakery.

Pet Connection
2214 S Vandeventer Ave, St. LouisI cannot say enough good things about this place! I’m newly getting into rat/mouse breeding for good pet lines, so I’m being pretty picky about what colors I’m breeding into my program, the gentleman working was busy feeding all the rats/mice, so I asked if I could come in and take a look, he immediately responded “absolutely! Come in!” When I explained to him what I was looking for, he pulled up a chair and went through nearly every rodent bin with me to help me find everything I needed, and not once did he make me feel like I was a bother, he even held a friendly conversation with me on the hobby the whole time. Everyone there is always so friendly, and the rodents have Amazing temperaments and really cool colors!

7316 Manchester Rd, St. LouisStopped in out of curious since I was in the area and always looking for healthy options and different toys for my pups. I loved this place and it seems to offer some if not the healthiest options, most organic and clean treats for your pet. Lots of food options and the manager was not only funny but gave me a great education on some of the products they carry. I cannot wait to come back and spend more time.

Animal House Cat Rescue and Adoption Center
2151 59th St, St. LouisI have read all the comments posted here, and I'm amazed how many people think adoption of a pet doesn't warrant close scrutiny of applicants. This organization looks to verify the adopted cat(s) would be going to safe and loving homes. If you don't think this is a necessary step in the adoption process, then you're more focused on your wants than the cat's needs.Another issue people took offense to is that cats are to be kept indoors. It should not up to the cat to decide; it's up to the pet caretaker. Cats are not aware of the risks (and there are many) when allowed to roam. It's also illegal to allow cats to be outside without a leash, despite what people think.Lastly, declawing is a painful, inhumane, and unnecessary process. If you desensitize the cat's paws by handling, petting them, you keep a cat's nails trimmed, and provide scratching posts, you don't have to concern about your furniture or injury.I personally like organizations that focus on the safety of a cat's prospective new home, ensuring it will be a happy and healthy life.I would give this organization 5 stars, but I too got no responses to my inquiries about a cat I wanted to adopt. They could do a better job in the area of communication. If I lived closer, I would volunteer to help them with this.
