Pet Connection
2214 S Vandeventer Ave, St. LouisOur son wanted a pair of rats and after looking high and low for weeks we stumbled upon pet connection which turned out to be amazing. Dan handles the rats and is very interactive with them. He was able to show us the moms and dads and even showed new litters that some rats just had. He was extremely informative and made the purchasing process extremely easy and distilled confidence in us through the entire process. We were then helped with everything we needed as well as having every question answered. Then they helped us with some healthy dog treats for our soon to be jealous dog lol. 10/10 recommend. Thank you for everything Dan. Will be back to see you for all our pet needs.

Pet Care
City Paws Veterinary Clinic
2200 S Vandeventer Ave, St. LouisCity Paws is by far the best veterinary office I have ever been to. Not only are their services 10/10, affordable, and quick. It's the customer service and bedside manner that has REALLY been incredible. I have worked with Dr. Nguy throughout my year with CP but they also squeezed me in last minute with other vets who were also wonderful. It doesn't matter who is working front desk or is the vet tech, they are sweet, compassionate, and actually excited to see your animals. Going to the vet is soo stressful and scary, it really feels like a traumatic experience having to put your baby's life into another person's hands but I wholeheartedly trust them. Recently, my baby came in after being hospitalized at the ER vet over a weekend and I wasn't sure he would make it. I brought him in and they took care of him, observed him, adjusted his meds and less than a week later he is almost back to normal! They remember all my babies names and get genuinely excited when they come in and see them. The doctors don't rush you through talking about what is going on or make you feel stupid for asking questions. They do follow-up emails and calls that is so reassuring and helpful. I cannot express enough how good they have been and how much I appreciate being a client with them. I cannot recommend them enough!

Concord Animal Hospital
11705 Baptist Church Rd, St. LouisI really don't remember how lone I have been going to Concord, but I know at least over 8 yrs. Early Aug. this year my 7 yr. old Scottie Mile stopped eating. I had the fortune to be seen by Dr. Malady and with his help and my great sadness I had to let Miles go to sleep on 8/27/24. Through out it all Dr . Malady was kind and thoughtful in his dealings with a fur mom that had a strong idea as to where and how this was going to end. What really surprised me was just this past Fri (9/27) got a letter from the UMo College of Veterinary Medicine notifying me that a donation had been made from Concord in honor of Miles in his passing. To say I was very surprised and impressed in and by this is almost an understatement. To me this is just another example of this practice's thought and caring in dealing with all who come through their doors no matter the number of legs they walk on. Should this have not sold you on trying this place by now for your fur or scale kids I am not sure what more I can do.

Love Unleashed
3425 Watson Rd, St. LouisI started taking my dog here because they have the best hours, both locations are good, and it financially was the best option. The staff greet my dog every morning by name and always recognize me as my dog's mom when I pick him up. They post photos of the dogs every day and even celebrate dogs' birthdays with a few of their furry friends. Becca has been working there since I started bringing my dog and she's extremely communicative and transparent if or when things happen. While they don't have an outside area, my dog still comes home exhausted and a daycare hangover the next day.

Ices Plain & Fancy
2256 S 39th St, St. LouisI came near opening on a Friday, Christmastime. The store was empty, yet hardly felt that way. The atmosphere inside was warm and cozy -- string lights adorned the windows, peppy Christmas music on the radio. Heart-shaped wire chairs and marble tabletops, just the most picturesque little ice cream shop. I got the S'mores, a holiday special. Not sure how they did it, and I don't know the magic behind nitro ice cream, but it genuinely tasted like it came right off the campfire. I've never had a S'mores-flavored dessert capture that smoky flavor before. I sat by the windows -- Ice's sits at the corner of 39th and Shenandoah, and I got to witness a bit of the Christmas magic happening right outside in the beautiful Shaw neighborhood. I will absolutely be returning again and again!

Main Squeeze Juice Co.
310 N Euclid Ave, St. LouisTried a couple things here over the few days I was visiting and was satisfied! I tried a chocolate smoothie and instead of honey, sweetened it with dates. I also tried the original breakfast sandwich (comes with a GF English muffin which is more like a biscuit in my opinion, Beyond sausage, vegan cheese, and Just egg.) The breakfast sandwich was very good, even as a gluten lover! They do a solid job at making those! Had an açaí bowl (removed the granola and honey. The Team Member wasn’t sure if the granola was vegan.) The açaí bowl was okay, had more of a smoothie texture than I’m used to. Without the granola it needed a crunch for sure. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular for a smoothie and a sandwich?

She bumps a fantastic playlist and has Balkan snacks and small plates to go with your wine selection.
