Stopped in to get a ring resized and thought we would browse at their jewelry while there. They hastily took info on the resizing and were way more interested in pushing new sale. When we picked up the resized ring it was the wrong size and it had a lump in the band due to poor work. We had to take it to a second jeweler to have it done properly, thereby paying for the work twice.

Needed a clasp replaced on a sentimental chain. Walked in and was immediately greeted by a friendly staff. The gal who greeted me immediately got to work fixing the clasp. The rest of the staff was super friendly and chatted with me while I waited. In & out in about 15 minutes with my necklace as good as new! Fantastic price (MUCH less than I was anticipating) and fantastic customer service. 10/10 definitely recommend stopping in if you need repairs!

I like to support small businesses and I have been a loyal customer for a long time. Unfortunately, the mood of the store has become uncomfortable for customers. Quality service doesn't include pressure sales, or demeaning and shaming words from sales people or the shop owner, however this is what can be expected more often than not here.

I believe in supporting local business. I went to Paramount to get my late wife's wedding ring resized. The woman that waited on me said that they would not be able to do it the way I wanted it done. They do not do castings. I asked if she could had any shops that she could recommend. She said that she only uses her store and she was not able to recommend anyone else. That's understandable. The shop owner came behind the counter looking for something and I said the the woman that maybe he would know of a place. He put his hand up and said "to busy" and walked away. He could have said many things to convey to me that he valued my business or future business but instead showed that he did not care. I realize that he would not make any money from me today but now he will not get any of my business in the future. He simply doesn't care about being helpful unless it profits him. I will never shop there again even if they had better pricing than anyone else. I know that I will not get the proper customer service after the sale. A simple response tells a lot about what kind of person you are dealing with

I came into said business with my father, browsing their selection of Bulova watches, while he picked up some jewelry he was having repaired. As I began browsing, I was in search of a women’s style Bulova, resembling the Bulova watch I currently have. After noticing a large difference in Bulova’s price on their website and Paramount prices, I’d asked for the best price. After being given that, I declined to purchase. As I walked out, Paul, an older gentleman whom I remembered from my childhood visits, looked me in the eyes and thanked me for not purchasing and supporting small businesses. Although I may be a different shopper than my father (Millennial vs Baby Boomer), I will always remember Paul’s snarky comments as I headed out the door. Although I didn’t purchase that day, for me, you’ve ruined the chance of gaining any of my business. One thing that will never change, is word of mouth being the best form of advertisement. You can help yourself, or hurt yourself. Just don’t hurt potential customers!!

Absolutely wonderful to work with! I took in an engagement ring which was purchased online that I thought needed new prongs or potentially a new setting to prevent the stone from being loose. They explained why this wasn’t needed and at no point tried to up sell me (which would have been very easy). They offered solutions to the issue instead. Fiancé and I walked out lifetime customers! Trustworthy, knowledge, and overall great people! We will absolutely be back for wedding bands!

Plenty of parking, but you may have to either search a bit or walk a little. It's worth it though. Staff is friendly and efficient and they can usually find what you need quickly.
Parking: Plenty of stores on the south side of Manchester and a 'strip- like mall' or two on the north.
