“I recently had a blow out, luckily, I was able to maintain control of my vehicle, fortunately no injuries occurred, and I made it safely to a secure place. I opted to have Roadside Assistance tow my vehicle to the Dobbs South County facility because the staff have been always helpful and service my vehicle without issue. When I arrived by the tow truck, I discovered the facility did not have the brand of tire on my vehicle while the tow truck driver was still present, but the Manager named Jon was willing to go to another facility to get that same type of tire per my request. Jon arranged for one of their auto technicians to travel & pick up the desired tire. Shortly, after the arrangements were made, I realized my phone was not in my possession; I asked Asst Mgr. or Office Lead who was also named Jon to unlock my vehicle so I could get my phone. I checked my vehicle, but I couldn't locate the phone. I went back in to have him call my number while I checked again, it was not in vehicle, also confirmed my smartwatch. When I went back inside, I asked to use their phone, so I called my phone & Roadside Assistance to contact the driver. I was permitted to use their second office phone during my attempts to retrieve my phone while Jon, Asst Mgr. even called my phone# when he was not assisting customers & available. It was about an hour or so before the driver was reached which was due to the diligent efforts of Jon, as my phone was on vibrate mode. I was elated. He asked the driver if he was able to come back to the store and bring me my phone, the tow truck driver was assigned a call of which he was enroute. Jon even asked the driver if he could inquire with his company if that service call could be reassigned to expedite the return of my cellphone, but driver was unable at that time. I spoke to the driver and obtained his contact info as my previous attempts went to voicemail. My vehicle was ready before my phone was retrieved, and I received a discount on the service. Jon, Asst Mgr. was friendly and conversed with me the entire time which kept my mind at ease throughout the ordeal. I used their phone again to call the tow truck driver to meet up. Shortly after getting my phone back, I called Dobbs & Jon, Asst Mgr. answered I told him that I got my phone back right after I left, and he notified me that my husband had called to check up on me & informed that I left to retrieved phone. Dobbs South County went above and beyond to assist me by providing exceptional service. The staff truly care.”

“We always go to Valvoline to our vehicle maintenance. By far, our favorite is the one on Hampton in St. Louis city. They are always more attentive and give you the facts not trying to upsell you on anything. They’re always friendly and there’s not usually a line unlike the other Valvolines In the area. I really like that the staff appeared to be having a great time anytime I come in and there is a consistency and the staff. While I always use a Groupon for the actual oil change I generally do some sort of preventative maintenance at the same time-also getting a discount with a coupon. . Prices without A coupon are comparable to my local mechanic and a better value with a coupon is the reason I do Some of the preventative maintenance and care for the vehicle. I’d rather pay somebody to change my lightbulb, air Filter, or ineffective air filter rather than attempt to do it myself. Matt, the assistant manager is awesome and trustworthy.”
“I dropped my car off as some lights came on. It was fixed and then a couple days after I picked up they came back on. This happened twice more. I blame this on the car issues - NOT their service. My car seemed to have been sneaky about what was wrong with it, with the codes being able to be various amounts of things. Each time I was told to bring it back and they’d fix it. Jim was transparent and communicated well about what was going on the whole time. I was told that parts were being ordered and approx when it should be finished. The third time took a little longer but that was only because they broke it down, ordered several more parts and ran multiple tests to ensure it was actually fixed - all at no additional cost. They said I paid for it to be fixed the first time, so they made it right. Awesome customer service. Highly recommend!!!”

“One of my tires was only at 22 PSI and after Googling and reading 20 or less is considered a flat and shouldn’t be driven on, I was freaking out. Couple that with being in Oakville visiting family, about 25 miles from where I live, and only 7° outside I was not comfortable driving all the way home with my dog and then to my neighborhood mechanic.I always go to Valvoline for oil changes and thought if they could just put enough air in to get me a larger buffer from 20 then from there can determine what going on at the mechanic the following day and if it’s more serious I need to need to replace the tire. They did better than that!! The guys at this location recognized it was the valve and Eric the assistant manager came outside (both bays were occupied with vehicles being serviced) AND replaced that / filled it to 35 in below freezing weather to get me up and running!! I can’t recommend this location enough- just extremely extremely grateful/ impressed!! I’m going to do a survey with Valvoline but also wanted to give them 5 stars here for the general public!!”

I showed up Monday morning, about 7:15, and was told once in the bay, the process would take forty-five minutes.
It was far less than that, maybe 25, and I was in and out. The technician, I believed named Luka (hard to read the cursive name patch) was also kind enough to add power steering fluid to a very low reservoir, and was friendly and outgoing.
The service was efficient, the staff helpful and communicative.
Between the Webster Groves location and this one (for the testing), I have had nothing but good experiences at these sites, and would recommend them.”

Keith checked my coolant while checking my oil. My oil wasn't listed on the cap, so he found the oil type on the label. He was very communicative, helpful, and friendly. My car needed coolant, and he was very concerned - because I had no coolant. He attended me periodically throughout my purchasing to make sure I bought the right products. He offered to help with the coolant, but I declined - because he already showed me where the coolant was. My hood release was broken, and I couldn't open my hood. He opened the hood for me, and helped with the coolant. Keith is a new employee, and he was very professional, and proactive with service. I was there for a basic oil change, and purchased valvoline oil for older cars. Yesterday early morning wasn't busy, and service was less than an hour/ half an hour. He told me to watch my engine leaks after the oil change to make sure coolant wasn't also leaking.”
