I prefer to use National when I travel. The Emerald Aisle is easy and efficient and the vehicles are clean and well maintained.The last time I rented, I got in a 2023 Chevy Silverado. After drove it for a week. The only downside is that now I want to trade my truck in for a 2023! HA!

National has always been my first choice in car rental. The rates and rental process on site are fantastic.My most recent rental experience didn't go as well as the in the past though. The inside of windshield had bad streaks from poor cleaning which made it difficult to see clearly at night with oncoming headlights. I was also charged for a re-fuel that I didn't approve or request despite the fact that I returned the car with a full tank and left the receipt for it in the car (this charge was refunded to me as soon as I called National about it).

Victoria and Harvey were very helpful and provided excellent service. Harvey helped find me a van when I came to the executive aisle. Victoria listened to an issue I had with the car speedometer and provided a credit.When I exited to pay, Lesley used my debit card and then told me that they cannot used a debit card and I would have to back out of the lane and go to the office to get it fixed because she couldn’t do it. So I had to be inconvenienced because she made a mistake. As I backed out, a manager arrived and had me drive back to the window and fixed the error. I did have to wait 4 days for the charge to be removed from my car.

I've rented from National several times and the experience is always superior to the other agencies. Easy shuttle ride, pleasant employees. Jordan who got us taken care of at drop off was great! No long wait at a pickup counter, with my Emerald club benefits. Great rates. Never disappointed when I rent with National. Thank you for making it a great experience

National is always an easy experience. On this trip, where I landed in STL, I found everyone to be so so courteous and nice! The shuttle drivers, both ways were extremely nice!! When checking in my car, I was greeted with a smile and a question asking if there was anything they could have done to improve my rental! Well done National!

Little bit trying at the end when returning vehicle. I requested upon pick-up to prepay my fuel. I return the vehicle the evening before the rental contract ended with no fuel in the tank. The agent recommended I fill the tank and return again to the drop off center. The agent gave me a 2-day credit on my account for the inconvenience. Agents involved were Lesley and Jaaliyah and were very helpful and accommodating. Very much a pleasure. They say a 2 day credit, lets see if it comes through.

I'm an Emerald executive member for more than a decade. It's very convenient to pick up and drop off cars of my preference at National Car rental. Their customer service has been excellent.

I stepped off the shuttle, was greeted immediately, and (after verifying I was an Emerald Club member) pointed to a car. I was off the lot within 5 minutes of arriving with a car that was clean and in perfect working order. The car return went very smoothly as well, just checked the mileage and gas, then sent me on the shuttle to the terminal. What a great rental experience!

I’ve been renting from National for about 2 months. What I love most is the free upgrades you get when you join the Emerald club. Also, checking out is breeze, from the emerald aisle, you just get in the car and pull up to the gate, no counters, no lines. When you arrive during business hours, the day attendants are always helpful and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for shuttle from the airport. Overall I’m a satisfied customer.

My wife and I were in St. Louis to finalize moving and house details. I am in a cast and using a knee scooter. When we arrived the attendant helped us pick a vehicle that was suited for our special needs. When we arrived back the two gentlemen who checked us back in helped us with getting our luggage on to the transport. I would have given five stars but the car was dirty on the outside rear hatch and bumper, which was only an issue since we had to utilize the hatch every stop for my scooter.

I am a very frequent renter. I don’t have a personal vehicle and National is my go-to rental place because they’re conveniently located near my home and their prices are competitive. The customer service is great! The cleanliness of the cars, however, are hit or miss. Most times I get a clean car and other times it looks like someone fell asleep on the job. The interior of my last two rentals were disappointing. There was dust and crumbs, water marks all over the screen and some spillage on the floor in the back seat. When I reported it the manager was apologetic. I appreciate that they strive to do better. It’s all I ask and that’s what will keep me coming back.

The first car we were going to rent had a huge dent and scratch. Didn't take it because we couldn't find Apple Car Play. The one we took drove fine but must have been filthy the last time it was returned because there were still streaks of dirt on it and the inside of the windshield was greasy - which makes night driving difficult. The back seat seatbelt sensors had an issue whereby all seatbelts needed to be buckled - even without passengers - in order to not chime.Service at this location was great! Ease of pickup was great. The shuttle drivers were great. I still love National!

The shuttle driver (Carla) overheard myself and another passenger talking about how we were running late and concerned about making our flight on time. Without hesitation, Carla insisted that she take us to the the terminal first. Carla was kind, considerate (upon getting on asked if everyone was ok with the AC) and a safe driver. Thanks to Carla we made our flight!
