Momoderne has the most tastefully curated selection of home and interior items in the region. There’s always fresh inventory, and every time I stop in I have a hard time not buying everything they have in stock! GREAT customer service as well!!

wow I cannot say enough about this shop! such unique pieces and you can really tell that the people running it have an eye for mid century design. they know what they’re doing and are happy to educate new customers! definitely a must visit in the STL midtown area for vintage lovers.

My daughter and I visited the store today after planning to for some time. The store had lovely & rare MCM items but the rude, uninterested, unfriendly man working there spoiled our visit. We were there for approximately 20-30 minutes--not a greeting, not an offer to assist us, not one word--including good bye because we left with no plans to ever return. It is unfortunate and from the other comments that I see this is pretty standard at this store.

so i was in st. louis from out of town and came across this shop. i went in and saw a table i liked.i knew something about this table and all i really needed was the price because there was no tag on it. i noticed a man who seemed to work there so i went up to him and i told him i was interested in the table. he asks me which one and i pointed to it and said that it was not priced and that perhaps it was not for sale or had already been sold. he assured me it was for sale to which i then asked the price and he says,''what do you think the price is?''. i could not believe he said this to me but i answered him nonetheless with what i thought was a reasonable price. well, let's just say he wasn't too keen on my answer. after eye-rolling and a little rude laugh he told me that i must be joking and then quoted me a price $200 more than what i had stated. so at this point, after feeling like i'm on this weird ''the price is right'' game show audition, i asked this guy(who i had just assumed was a salesperson) if i could speak to a manager and he tells me that he can do me one better and that i am speaking to lubby, an owner. i could not believe that i had been speaking to an owner all along who never even introduced himself as one. i politely told lubby thank you but that i would pass on buying the table to which he actually says out loud ''well, that was a waste of time for both of us'' and proceeds to walk away. oh...my...god! are you kidding me. i thought i was being punked like on one of those hidden camera shows...but the reality was that this here was a genuine nasty,rude and dismissive fella. later that night at a local bar & restaurant i meant some locals and when i told them about my experience in this store lets just say they were not shocked. so there you go. that was my experience. a very negative one indeed! but one i am now glad i got off of my chest.
