During the snowstorm yesterday a 16 year old got into a car accident in front of my home. I went out to assist him, and the first thing he did after we called the police was call Menards to tell them he would miss his shift - his car was stuck on top of a fire hydrant and couldn't be moved until the weather let up.The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude to him. She just said him missing work was a problem for her amd he needed to figure it out. She didn't ask if he was OK or express any concern. Just told him to call back when he figured out if he could get a ride.It was appalling treatment of a respectful kid who was just in his first accident and was trying to do his best. If this is how Menards treats their employees, I will never be shopping here again.

I had to purchase new locks at this location recently and received superb and phenomenal customer service from the manager in lighting. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and accommodating.

First time here...I would of gave them a five star, but it was 7 pmOn a Friday and the parking lot was dark no lights on...guess they forgot to pay the electric bill. When I called to let them know, I got a cold response. No one cared about people's safety. ?

I placed an order online for pickup and the Richmond heights Menards and they filled my order quick. I was not able to make it for a few days and they had no problem holding on to my order. Today I pulled up the the guard shack and the very nice lady scanned me in. I parked at pickup and went inside and a very nice gentleman named John. He scanned my phone found my order pushed it to my work van and loaded it. I told him how nice he was compared to past employees. He also said there has been new management and it's been a vast improvement. The seem to be a very proud employee and there needs to be more of him. I would hire him in a heartbeat. My family is from Eau Claire and I've went to Menards my whole childhood. I'm happy menards is in St. Louis but just needs a to figure out how to get more of the market. My only real advice is the layout of your stores are not the most efficient for contractors wanting to get in and out quick.

Mailed the receipt to their office, but many times no received 11% rebates, no more trust them, before three years ago, when I mailed the receipt to them, I had rebate, but this year , I mailed many times no get anymore

Don't ever use the online the is in the very back of the there's only two isles you can get to I was walking you down one of the two aisles was 3/4 the way through the employee said you can't be here employees only I was 10 ft from the desk I continue to the desk and they said that there was a sign saying you couldn't be here so after my transaction I went back there was not a sign there was a sign saying you can't go down to the right on a separate aisle had four employees circle me like they was going to attack me

I have been shopping at this location for a couple years now and have become increasingly frustrated with my experience at this store, especially in contrast to my experience at the Manchester Rd location.Staff is nearly impossible to find in most departments and disinterested in helping if all you can find is someone from an adjacent department. Not my department, not my problem prevails. And if they're already helping a customer they will actively ignore you even if all you have is a simple "where is this" question and the other is a prolonged purchase process (millwork especially).If you are going to purchase long or heavy items, good luck finding a flat or rail cart. Apparently management can't be bothered to replace aging equipment. Or at least that's the story from the employees I've talked to when trying to find a cart.Courtesy patrol would rather hangout in the cart coverings and play on their phone than do their job.The management of this store also refuses to take returns of certain types of items that other stores will accept (sometimes with a restocking fee).In contrast my experience at the Manchester location has found more frequently available and helpful staff around the store, even at later hours. A much more reliable assortment of flat and rail carts. The courtesy patrol team is actively moving around the lot collecting carts and offering to help load heavy items.Despite the slightly longer drive to other stores, I intend to switch my Menards shopping away from the Richmond Heights store.

Menards is the best I love going there you can get everything you need to for the hardware store and miscellaneous whatnots plus you know so get things for eating IE milk cereal frozen Pizza chips dips different types of drinks and candy. Plus you can also get indoor and outdoor plants it surely is the truly everything store it is truly the best

1st time going to this Menards. Super nice and clean. Very helpful employee in the yard power tools. I believe his name was Ray, but I could be wrong, I do know that he mentioned that he is a preacher if that can help identify him. I only mention this because he was VERY helpful, but above and beyond that, he was KIND. Just kind. And that is something we need tons more of.

Nice selection of various items. Giving it a two star because we had a very strange feeling an employee was following us. Don't really care to be watched while I'm trying to shop and spend that kind of money.

Two weeks ago I placed an online order they were supposed to pull and bring out to me and then I spent an hour inside at their back desk because they could not find my order in their computer. Today I placed another order they were supposed to bring out to and after waiting twenty minutes a lady came out making excuses and told me I was doing it wrong. Ignorance at its finest. This is what happens when you place an experienced employees in the wrong positions without proper training. The Richmond Heights Menards that has been fine for years has all of a sudden went downhill when it comes to ordering online for pickup.
