I recently hired McGuire to relocate us across the country. Although their customer service was excellent, the move was disastrous. A box with my most precious items never arrived (still lost months later) and 18 of our boxes were left in St. Louis for weeks. Upon arrival, the move crew was short one person and one of the movers decided to spend most of the day on the truck. It took nine hours and they were never able to get our beds properly put together. We ended up having to pay another crew to come back the next day. We experienced thousands and thousands of dollars worth of damage to our furniture and personal items.
To make the situation worse, we discovered the next morning that all of our precious jewelry had been stolen. Everything! We have filed a police report and we do not know exactly who took the jewelry, but it is all gone!
It’s been a couple of months and I am no longer crying at night, but I will never forget the loss I experienced.

We hired McGuire for our office move in Clayton, MO yesterday and I honestly cannot put into words how AMAZING the experience was! Zach, Matt, and all of the guys were such gentlemen. They went above and beyond the call of duty - even assisting with securely packing up large Apple computers. We have a great deal of large artwork in our office, and the team crated and cared for it as well as the art gallery installers themselves.
They were not the cheapest - but they're the best! I will be recommending them to anyone I know moving (residential or commercial) - these guys are 10/10!

Incredible customer service during the planning phase, professional and detailed service during boxing, crating, and moving phase. The team was amazing to work with and I am so happy we went with them. They made the move stress-free and seamless!

Over priced and not worth it. Normally you get what you pay for but not at McGuire. It was a long distance move. They lost pieces to my bedframe so now all I have is a mattress. Also the moving crew consisted of one person so I had to assist. No offers of refund or assistance. Find another company for an interstate move.

This has to be the number one moving company in St. Louis. We use them last weekend for a move and it was incredible just how great everything went.
The movers Von, Joe and Zach did an incredible job and the most polite people I’ve been around in a long time and everything went just great. Highly recommend this company for packing and moving your house or business

Highly recommend McGuire! My move team, Aaron and Devon, got to my house, and I was so stressed that I was in tears. Moving a whole house is so stressful! They were so kind. They said you relax now and let us take over. You go have a cup of coffee and relax! They were so professional, organized, and careful. Not one thing was left behind or broken. They stayed on the timeline. It was a smooth move thanks to their great attitudes, experience, and talent.

I can't say enough good things about these amazing people and would rate McGuire 10 stars if Google would let me. Everyone I had contact with there -- from the Josh, the general manager, to Jessica, the operations manager, to Mike, the loading manager, to Charles, the warehouse guy, to every single individual involved with the packing, loading and unloading of my stuff -- embodied the highest level of customer service.
McGuire's tagline, "Always Hiring Amazing People," is spot-on! They were each professional and personable, introducing themselves and shaking my hand, and worked carefully and diligently throughout the process. McGuire not only provided free used packing materials but also showed us how to safely wrap big items, like pictures and mirrors, which lowered our moving cost.
Jessica answered all my MANY emails in short order, even on the weekends, and she called at the end of each day during the actual move just to make sure things were going well.
Moving can be such a chaotic and worrisome experience on many levels. I was SO GLAD that I entrusted my move to McGuire! They worked closely with us as real partners, and I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Wanted to support a local family owned business as I always try to do so. However, maybe I got the wrong person. Think I talked with TJ or something like that and he was rude, in a hurry, and seemed to be laughing at what I thought were good questions. Its a shame because I wanted to utilize them but TJ made sure my business went elsewhere.

I recently hired McGuire Moving Company to help with my move and I was thoroughly impressed with their service. I don’t know how to adequately express my happiness with McGuire Moving and Storage.Working with Josh and Christine was such a pleasant experience and their movers were spectacular. They were careful, considerate, great problem solvers (difficult stairs) and treated the furniture as if it was their own.They have moved a large law firm for me in the past and now have moved my son as well. The same careful, close attention to detail was paid on both those moves.No damage, no difficulties and even under budget. Friendly, considerate and incredibly accommodating. We couldn’t possibly ask for any more than they did!
