This place was absolutely horrible, again! I decided to give them a second chance by buying their homemade pork tamales. AGAIN, they BARELY had any pork in them. ($15 for 6) The woman at the counter could hardly understand English. I will attempt to get my money back today. The prices are too high for their goods. You're better off buying them at a real Mexican restaurant.

This was the second time I bought the homemade tamales there. Never again. The pork tamales had about a tablespoon of pork in them. They charged $15 for 8 of them. It was the same thing the first time I bought them there. That's what I get for being nice & hoping it was a fluke the first time. Pretty much everything in the store was overpriced. I will attempt to take them back ( minus the one) today. You're better off ordering from a reputable restaurant! The woman at the register acted like she didn't understand English.GO ELSEWHERE!

Absolutely the #1 spot! Hands down the BEST Authentic Mexican, as close to home as you can get. Handmade tortillas, sopes, gorditas, tacos & more. Truly perfect, every single time! This is undoubtedly a hidden gem!

Nice store with a lot of options, but the main review is for the Loncheria located in the back. This is the most authentic Mexican food you're going to find in St. Louis. Every visit is a good one and I love sharing this hidden gem with friends and family.

Very authentic as far as I know Mexican food. Tastes more homemade from many Mexican dishes In restaurants. Very small eating area set in the back of the grocery store. I had take out which would be my suggestion. Ordered pork and chicken tamales. The pork was tastey . The chicken were spicey hot and if you like spicey hot, they are perfect. Might have used more filling in each . The tamales are served only on weekends starting on Friday afternoon. Can take home fresh from a cooler at the register sold individually or from the fridge sold by half dozen bagged. Helpful service ready to help .

I went into this store and received no service. Maybe it was just me, but if I don't feel respected in your place of business, I won't return to your business. No hard feelings. When someone walks into your business, you are supposed to greet them with a smile and a warm welcome. Business 101.

I recently heard about this place last night from a foody friend. St. Louis over the last ten years has developed an embarrassment of riches with high quality Mexican and Central American food. I am however always looking for more and when I was told there was a place by the South Couny Home Depot, I was ready to give it a try. It is a grocery in front with a window in back to order. Several tables and probably seating for 10-30 with tables between 2 top and 8 top but not many. No Public Bathrooms. Be careful and don't get confused by "La Fiesta", which appears to just be standard Tex/Mex and has no grocery but is the first place you will see in strip mall. Keep going. This was my first trip and I only got carryouts. Enchiladas for my bride and tacos for me. All of it traveled well to Webster and was completely enjoyable. I got Asada and Tinga tacos and she had the Tinga enchilada plate. The enchiladas were served with a fluffy rice (no peas) and refried beans. The tacos were street style with onions and cilantro on corn tortillas with a lime wedge. It was all great. In my opinion, worth the drive. It is as far as you can go driving south on Lindbergh in a strip mall running perpendicular to Home Depot. Reasonable English was spoken and the proprietors were extremely friendly. I will definitely go back.

In the very back of this store, you will find the most authentic Mexican dining experience in missouri. Don't confuse it with your typical tex-mex restaurant. Real Mexicans cooking for real Mexicans. I love to get lunch here and feel like I am on vacation in the rivera maya.

Huge selection. Lots of spices and snacks that you can't find elsewhere. Store also includes a street taco cafe in back. We will return
