I started using Joe about two years ago upon a recommendation from a friend. I really liked Joe and his business. This is a small, owner operated business. He is not high-tech or flashy. What he offers is quality, honest, fair priced work. If the work you need is not well suited to him, he will tell you and make a recommendation on a better choice. He has directed me elsewhere on a couple of jobs. I really appreciate that honesty. He recently put new brakes on one of my cars for about 25% less than the quote from another shop - and I know he used quality parts. I recommend joe very highly.

Kingston Automotive has GREAT service. Joe is professional, very knowledgeable, and is a very nice guy. He doesn't fix what isn't broken; he makes suggestions before servicing/repairing; will search for best part prices; and does great troubleshooting with all vehicle performance issues; very accommodating with appointments; respectful of your time. I highly recommend.

In an attempt to keep my business local, I have twice called these guys, and both times was turned away. First time I called looking for someone to do some light welding on my exhaust, and was told to call a muffler shop. Second time, I called for a quote on tires, and was told that they don't stock tires and they are only ordered as customers need them. Last I checked, I was a potential customer. The gentleman didn't offer to check on a price, or state that they would have to be ordered, so it may take a while... or something! Both times they've seemed indifferent, so from now on, I'll skip these guys when price shopping.
