Great place to get toys or clothes for kids. Store was well stocked and organized, staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Checkout was easy and simple. The store was easy to find and had ample parking. It is in an older building but it looked well maintained and clean.

Oh my gosh. This place. I couldn’t recommend a better place to go. I went for breastfeeding support. I was having issues with my pump and the owner Sierra was absolutely incredible with me. I have never been treated with so much compassion and love. I’m not from around St Louis, in fact we were just visiting family there. But she made me feel so welcomed. She even kept her store open late for me as I showed up 10 minutes to close. Sierra was so awesome with me. She gave me a used pump she had lying around and helped me figure out what parts I would need to have a successful pump! I am so grateful for women like her. She was so helpful and giving. I would give this store 1000 stars if I could. You restored my faith in people. I wish I could meet more people like Sierra. Thank you so much again for all your help. We’re home and I’m focused on getting my supply back up! I can’t wait to come back to her store!

The best resale name brand kids clothes in St. Louis! Everything is clean and organized. The staff is so helpful and love to help you find what you're looking for. The clothes are always in great condition because the owner Sierra has attention to detail! I love knowing they take time to look over clothes before they hit the floor. Always a great experience when we go!

My favorite place to shop for my kiddos! The owner Sierra is not only just the sweetest person but she's also a lactation specialist and a wealth of knowledge. Breastfeeding can be so challenging but she was so helpful in answering my many questions. The staff is always so friendly and greets you with a smile. I always check Kangaroos Kids for baby/kid related things before buying at the big store because I love shopping local! I can't recommend shopping at Kangaroo Kids enough!

Baby and maternity resale shop. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the store has a nice variety of resale (and some new) items.

Leaving a review here to hopefully save one person from leaving this store feeling the way I did. After leaving and sharing my experience on social media, I found out that my interaction wasn’t with an uneducated employee, but the owner. And that my experience was far from unique.I was treated so poorly by her from the second I walked in. When I didn’t know the answer to her question, she rolled her eyes at me and belittled me. I blew it off, and tried to “kill her with kindness” which just seemed to irritate her further. When she called me over to let meKnow she was done looking through my things, she was hesitant to let me look through the pile of clothes and toys that she was offering me money for. She then proceeded to tell me that an item I was selling (that she was accepting ?) was barely worth anything to her. When I told her I didn’t want to sell the other pile for store credit, she was rude and obviously annoyed and told me to check her website for the store procedures.I’m truly disappointed that this local, small business operates this way. My hope in writing an honest review (similar to other reviews I’ve seen online) is to perhaps allow the owner to reflect on the way she treats her customers and maybe consider being nice so her reputation in town can be restored.Unfortunately, she lost a customer (I also live in the community) as well as my entire network, forever. Based on her responses in Google reviews, she will likely say something like “good riddance” which just makes me sad for her. There is no need to treat people that way, ever, especially in business. In an era where we have more choices than ever of places to support and spend our hard earned money, we do not need to be treated poorly nor should we have to endure poor customer service. I hope this makes a difference ❤️.

Kangaroo Kids is by far the best children’s and mothers resale shop in STL. When I lost my daughter last year, they kindly provided me with a hospital grade pump for free until mine came in from insurance. Sierra also gave me so much lactation advice and got me set up with a few comfy pumping bras. Without that help I wouldn’t have been able to start my pumping journey and donate 1479 ounces of breast milk to NICU babies. This year I am pregnant again and stopped by the store to get ready for baby. I was able to find so many sleepers, hats and already some winter apparel for an extremely reasonable price. Everything is in great condition.Thank you Kangaroo Kids for supporting families!

Requiring masks in 2023 is bonkersNot even the OBGYN or hospital requires masks anymore ; I guess the thrift store owner knows something the doctors don't.You know what they say: trust the experts. For example, trust your doctor for medical advice.Or trust the thrift store for buying and selling used goods.

A second hand (with new toys) baby and children's shop with pretty nice condition items. Note: not necessarily nice quality, nice condition. Lots of Carters and Walmart/Target brands for sale. The store space itself is eh and hard to access. I took both gear and clothing to sell, all high dollar items in fantastic condition. I've never intended to purchase items here since I'm picky and refuse to buy Carter's. The month of June (and maybe February?) they only give store credit for clothing. I wasn't keen on this since I won't be buying clothing there, but I saw they also have Plan Toys and Green Toys new, so I went ahead and had them buy the clothes from me for store credit. They had to look up a lot of my brands since they are mostly european. It took a long time. They also didn't take a couple pima cotton bodysuits (but say they love Kissy Kissy...also pima cotton), made in USA onesies (that were $32/ea new!), european knits ($70 new items), a Pehr blanket, and two pants that were part of a set (they only took the top ?). When I called, they didn't want the matching pants. So strange. One of the shoes they bought, which were worn once and $120 new, they listed for $8.99. What the heck. I could have gotten $25 online. They sell the items for cheap. This is nice for the buyer but bad for the private seller. I sell baby items online constantly. One item that sold for me immediately online was $15 more than the same item they have for sale.In all, it's a good place to buy if you want good condition items and don't care about brands. It can be bad to sell except for gear, which is hard to ship if sold online. Otherwise, sell your clothes on Kidizen for more money (not Carter's, no one is buying Carter's online).

DO NOT SHOP HEREAs I entered the store with absolutely not one other customer there I was told to put my mask on or they could provide one for me. I said no thank you. I'm asthmatic it's a bad air quality day as it is I'm having issues. Apparently, if you don't have the right medical conditions, that they agree with. You are told your a " snowflake" and to exit. Just horrible as a grandmother to be called names by the owner of store. Shameful just shameful.

Awful! They would not let me in the store. It is more than 3 years after Covid and they are still insisting on depriving oxygen. It is scientifically proven that masks are considered child abuse, causing developmental disorders. Great to know they care more about pushing this political agenda than the well-being of children! Will not go again!!!

As a customer for 21 years I will never go back!!!!! Horrible customer service. Not one person in the place. It’s outside is disgusting and the inside is twice as bad. Clean your space. Maybe don’t be so worried about masks and more worried about mold and mildew on items being sold
