This might be the worst autograph collection I have stayed at. We decided to get the nicer room with terrace and seating area and it was just not worth it. The shower was dingy, the min fridge smelled so bad, there wasn’t a hairdryer in the room and the chairs on the terrace were broken.
Zero amenities. For $300+ a night for a hotel, a hairdryer and MAYBE a robe would be nice.
The location is also kind of awful. Downtown St. Louis is quiet and boring.

Guy at counter doesn't like veterans. Made comment that I'm not military anymore so I don't get discount then puts me into room. With broken lights and toilet. Been coming here for years, never had any issues with id or room, but will chose different hotel from now on.

Had a reservation using my active military rate on Friday, September 27th so my wife & I could celebrate her birthday & attend the Billy Joel-Sting concert that night. We live in KC and headed via car to St Louis that morning. Unfortunately, the concert was canceled and moved to Sunday night, September 29th. We found out about the cancelation when we were half way to St Louis in Columbia, MO. We decided to go back home Friday & tried to reschedule our stay to Sunday, but the hotel was booked on Sunday and then the hotel made us pay for the full price of the room Friday due to a less than 24 hour notice to try & reschedule. The hotel would not "walk us" with other hotels in the area, because they too were booked due to the concert date being moved from the 27th to the 29th. This is extremely poor customer service. We will not be staying at a Marriott Hotel anytime in the future. We have no desire to continue our rewards membership with Marriott. So disappointed!

The hotel is centrally located in downtown close to Gateway Arch. The lobby is beautiful. The room was very clean and cozy, and all equipment worked fine. Interestingly, there was an old turntable in the room with a number of vinyl records nearby. The restaurant was somewhat disappointing, not because of the food, which was OK, but due to poor service: my main course was never served, and once i reminded them about it the kitchen was already closed.

Stayed for three nights on a long weekend with my family. We loved the style of the hotel, the lobby was beautiful and the rooms/hallways were nicely appointed. The beds were comfortable, the bidet was nice, and they had electric vehicle charging for guests who use the valet service which was very helpful!
The service, however, was very inconsistent and typically quite lacking. This lack of service started right from the beginning, when no one came out to help us unload our vehicle or provide a luggage cart upon arrival even though no other guests were present when we pulled up. The front desk reception upon checkin was indifferent, and not at all friendly. Water was not provided despite my Titanium status and the executive lounge being closed as it was the weekend. Also, there was no housekeeping the first night even though it was requested upon check in, and after the second night, they only arrived to clean around 5 PM after we had returned to the room so we had to decline.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel despite some of the positive attributes until the service levels improve. This is especially true if you are a Marriott Platinum or Titanium member as the status doesn’t convey much in terms of benefits.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully remodeled historic hotel. We stayed in the penthouse suite, and the rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained. Every staff member we encountered was exceptional—kind, respectful, and courteous. The hotel’s prime location in downtown St. Louis put us within walking distance of most of the local attractions we wanted to visit, as well as some fantastic restaurants.
The rooftop pool, though small, offers stunning views of Busch Stadium and the downtown skyline. Our kids had a blast having the pool all to themselves, especially at night when they could swim and watch the fireworks from the stadium before Cardinals games.
The penthouse suite was perfect for our family, with three spacious bedrooms, bathrooms for each rooms, laundry area, a small kitchen, a living area, and a pool table. We especially loved the two balconies that offered views of the city. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant on the first floor which had a great selection menu. They also do room service as well. Our mini staycation was a delight, and we look forward to returning soon! Will recommend to family member or friends.

A wonderful 4 star hotel in downtown st Louis. I will be staying more often if i ever need to go to an event by the dome. Its a 5 min walk to the dome and the staff is wonderful.

I showed up at 4:00 PM and my room wasn't ready. I proceeded to wait 30 minutes for the room to finish getting inspected. The last thing I want is to be waiting in a lobby for 30 minutes after traveling all day.

Worst service I’ve ever received as a Marriott Gold Elite Member!!
I discovered bedding had what appeared to be feces on the bedding that had been “washed” by hotel staff and placed on our bed.
This hotel is NOT a luxury hotel at best it’s a great motel.

Rooms are really good but the customer service is pathetic. I have stayed here multiple times over the last year and had some good experiences once in while too. However for the past few months I have seen this happen way too often ! Service is super slow, Definitely Don’t have breakfast here, Takes eons for them to prepare. If you try to pre-order or call them for anything, they are extremely unprofessional and will put your call on hold or not pickup altogether.
