I have used Schaefer Autobody multiple times in the past, but since I was not going to file a claim and would pay out of pocket for the damage to my car, I decided to get some other estimates. After researching reviews, I found Honea Auto Body and was amazed at how many 5 star reviews this company had, not only for pricing but for quality. I was able to get an estimate the next day, far sooner than 2 other shops that required an appointment a week or two later, I met with the owner, Ken Kirchhofer, who was pleasant, friendly, and very knowledgable. He indicated that once they secured the parts, which might take some time since they had to order a complete door, the work would probably take another 7-10 days, as the paint was 3 stage (not 2 stage like most cars), which added significantly to the cost. However, his estimate was 30% BELOW Shaefer Autobody, and 20% BELOW Caliber Collision, another point made by other reviewers that mentioned "saving money." And since they had a delay with some other vehicle, my work was completed in ONLY 4 DAYS, not the 7-10 days he suggested, which saved my another $100 in auto rentals. The work performed was EXCELLENT. I was so happy, I contacted my Insurance Broker and let him know that he should recommend all his customers to Hoena Auto Body.

Honea is really awesome to work with. Their staff is friendly and they are very transparent. I came in for an estimate and was told it'd be about a month before they could take my car. Once I brought it in, they gave me an accurate estimate of when it would be completed. The final price ended up being less than I was quoted, which I really, really appreciated. The work was excellent quality and I later sold my car for almost the same price I bought it for. I would work with Honea again in a heartbeat.

Our car mechanic recommended Honea. We have used them 3 different times in the past year and each time we have been pleased. They are clear about what they can and cannot fix, how much time they expect it to take, and how much it will cost. They come through on their promises and are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Honea.

I had an exceedingly positive experience at Honea Auto Body. I had come to Honea after dealing with a fiasco at one of the larger conglomerate body shops in town. Ken was very kind, honest, and professional about the entire matter. His outstanding experience and knowledge about auto body repair was evident in his ability to repair existing parts rather than replacing everything. Moreover, this experience also lead to an overall much lower cost than what the conglomerate body shop was asking for. Ken was understanding about my predicament and was able to repair and return my vehicle exceptionally quickly. I highly recommend you come to Honea Auto Body.

Stellar service and quick as a fox! They could not have done better and I unequivocally recommend HONEA. My car looks great again.This is the second time I have used Honea and they certainly have exceeded all expectations for wonderful repair for my BMW. The staff at Honea Auto Body are very professional. I shopped around (5 different establishments) and Honea was the second lowest. The cheapest shop did not give me a good feeling about the quality of their work. The finished repair from Honea is perfect.
