Honea Auto Body was recommended by friends at Washington University when I requested the need for help. I later found out that they are often the body shop patents recommend from WashU.
My son got a quote from owner Ken who was professional. The quote was difficult for my son to receive with paying half since we are cash pay.
I called Ken to discuss the estimate and he was able to make a few tweaks that lowered the price and improved the part to an OEM. WOW! Not expected. I scheduled the repairs.
Since I live out of town I arranged for a time I was visiting. My son dropped off and repairs were completed under the estimated three days. But a snag in the lights caused a delay. It was not there problem. They went well beyond to fix the issue and eventually did with only a small delay. Ken bent over backwards to ensure it was working correctly.
Delivery of the car was easy. Ken explained the process he used to repair the car showing us the old bumper. He also explained the difficulty with the electrical that was resolved with great pain and add cost he did not transfer to us. Double WOW!!! The cost came in even a bit less than the revised quote some how,
The shop may not look like much from the front, but it's quite large. It once was a building used to perform maintenance on city buses.
Let's be clear on typical body shops, they can take advantage of you. Dealers charge premium on labor. I'm so impressed with Honea and have already recommended them to others.

Ken and the team at Honea are world-class. I will not go to another autobody shop as long as I am in the STL area. When I first went to Honea for a quote to repair a front passenger side fender Ken spent the extra time to walk me through, step by step, every line item in the quote and the reasoning for their pricing and labor. He also talked me through the repair process and called me regularly throughout the week my truck was in the shop to provide updates on how things were going. If you are looking for an autobody shop that truly cares about their customers and craft then Honea is the place.

Ken and his team went above and beyond every step of the repair process! Ken helped get the claim started and gave advice when dealing with the insurance company to speed up the process and make sure we had everything covered. Our vehicle looks brand new! We are so thankful for the Honea team and will be using them again in the future!

The owner was very informative. I wasn't aware the new bumper was just cloth and thin plastic, which attaches everything. I barely scraped a high curb when I backed off the bumper was destroyed underneath. I am putting a bra on it, great advise.

Amazing, fast, quality collision repair! Ken and his team were very friendly and got my car in & out! Highly recommend and will definitely bring my car here if I ever have any problems in the future (hopefully not!)

Honea exceeded my expectations. I was referred to Honea for autobody work by Big Bend Auto who I hold in very high regard. Ken Kirchhofer at Honea suggested that I bring the car by to assess whether my problem was large or small. Lucky for me, with the help from one of the body shop mechanics, it was a small problem which was fixed on the spot. While waiting for my car to be fixed, I had the opportunity of listening to Ken handle calls from the public. Ken was always patient, polite and helpful to the people who called while I was waiting for my car to be repaired. Thanks, Jim Singer

My mechanic recommended Honea when my sister’s car’s front bumper was hanging off on both sides. We needed a quick fix to get the bumper stable enough to drive to Colorado without spending thousands on replacing the entire bumper.
Honea went above and beyond! They glued the bumper back on very solidly, and the car has already made it from St. Louis to Colorado with zero issues. In fact, the bumper looks better than it has in years. I brought the car in an hour before closing, and Honea had it ready to go at 9:15 a.m. the next day. Incredible service.
These guys impressed me, and I’ll definitely be back if I need autobody work!

Had a tiny accident with my mirror cap and the guy inside gave some really good advice on how to fix it instead of buying a whole new one and painting it. Took minutes.
