New to the neighborhood and my one request when house hunting was being near a walkable grocery shop and Gustine Market is the place! Whether you need one single thing to complete your dish or a bottle of wine to get the night started, Gustine has the goods! The free samples at the register are a nice bonus too.

All of the people working at Gustine Market are very nice and helpful with finding anything that you need. They have a lot of drinks, snacks, and also any everyday ingredients that you may need to pick up before making dinner. Would totally recommend supporting this local shop as much as you can!

Cute little shop, like a bodega. Lots of variety in the beverage selection, but they also have a cheese counter, Dippin' Dots, frozen foods, produce, and lots of shelf-stable groceries. If you're in the neighborhood and don't want to take a trip to the grocery store, check them out! The person behind the counter was very personable. A new friend showed me this little market, and I'll definitely be back!

Awesome neighborhood place. Local products, friendly people, and a great selection of just the right item for dinner. Clementine ice cream! Lots of wine and all those last minute items for your next event. Even have wine tastings! I'm visiting from Oklahoma; wish we had a local spot I could walk to.

If been coming to this store since I’ve moved back from Houston and started living on the southside. This is a very diverse side of town. I have had a few unpleasant experiences at this store. The ladies that work there are very nice and Pleasant. I walk and get coffee everyday because that’s something I enjoy doing. One time I went in the store alone. And the owner was there and he absolutely made me feel uncomfortable. The guy that works in the evening doesn’t seem to found of Black people. Me and my son went one day for drinks . We asked could we get a cup of ice with straws he agreed. But instead of putting the straws in our hand he threw them on the counter and walk away. I felt so disrespected in front of my 13 year on son. My Son asked why do people act like that, he stood there and had a whole conversation with another customer and never left the counter like he did us. I’m not sure if this store is color friendly. The prices are extremely to high! I truly enjoyed taking my walks in the morning and getting my coffee. But I think today was my last day. Stopping in there. Bad vibes.

Great "grab and go" corner store. The staff are very helpful with any questions you may have and are very personable. Have a wide variety of craft beers to choose from. Have local company frozen pizza. They have a good selection of iced coffees, waters, sodas, and teas as well. If you have any items you forgot to get at the grocery store, they'll have you covered with cereal, Mac n cheese, canned food, chips, etc. They try to have as many vegan, organic, natural, or local foods and drinks that can muster in this place and I appreciate that.

Great neighborhood place that is decently priced. Nice selection of food, beer, household needs, random daily needs, and other stuff. Super wide range of alcohol selection. They also added Kaldi's cold brew on tap! I have never bought it before so I thought it was exciting. However, I really wish they had Uncrustables (strawberry & pb or low sugar grape & pb).

This little market in the Tower Grove South neighborhood has saved me a trip to the supermarket on many occasions. They have a wide variety of supplies from snacks, to cooking ingredients, to quick meals, to cleaning supplies, and even beer/wine. They are very reasonably priced and the service is excellent, with debit card and quickpay both accepted. They even hold wine tastings for the community (when the global atmosphere permits of course). While all of this already warranted a 5 star rating, what put Gustine over the top for me has been their amazing response during COVID-19. They were one of the first establishments I recall in the TGS neighborhood to enact social distancing measures; including patrons waiting 6 feet apart when outside of the store, only allowing 1 patron to enter the store at a time, and adjusting for no contact transactions. Yet the quality of their service nor their products changed. The staff remained friendly and welcoming. The products remained affordable and convenient. I would definitely recommend checking them out and will absolutely continue giving them my business as long as I am in St. Louis.
