I was referred to Greg's Automotive by the owner of another local business The Wash Bucket. I had asked him if he knew of a good place I could take my husband's truck that needed work. He told me he had a lot of customers say great things about Greg's. I went in and talked to Greg the week before Thanksgiving. I told him my husband had recently passed away and he had been sick for several years so his truck had been very neglected. I told him that another local automotive shop had told me it needed a new motor and didn't seem to want to mess with it. They quoted me a really high price and kept telling me how filthy the inside of the truck was. I didn't feel that had anything to do with working on the engine. Greg told me to bring it in and he'd take a look. I told him the truck was nothing special, it was just that it was my late husband's and I wanted to save it if at all possible.Greg called me a few days later after I had taken it in, told me what it needed and how much it would cost. It was not a new motor! The price Greg gave me was a third of what the other shop had quoted me. I couldn't believe it!!I told him to take his time. I wasn't in any hurry to get it back especially since I knew it could be saved. Greg and his staff had the job done within the week.Greg could have easily ripped me off. Number one. I know nothing about cars so he could have told me anything, and number two my emotions were so high wanting to save my husband's truck I probably would have paid just about anything, but he didn't! Greg is so honest and genuine. It is so nice knowing that there is still good hearted, honest, caring people remaining in the world. We need to make sure that we support the small businesses that do whatever it takes to take care of the people in their community. If you want good, quality service go to Greg's Automotive.

Greg's is the first place I call when I have vehicle issues. I have been using his repair shop for years and multiple vehicles. I am thrilled that I have been able to get so many miles out of my 20year old vehicle. High quality repairs on both Fords and Chevys. I take my vehicle here for everything, oil changes included. owner had a nasty attitude on the phone because his receptionist told me they would could me about a quote which they never did, and so I called back 4 hours later and he proceeded to “tell me how it works around there” and pretty much tried to guilt me with this sob story of working 14 hour days. I simply told him that is a personal issue and he told me to lose his number. if you want your car worked on by someone who actually has the decency to respect a paying customer go anywhere but here

This is the most honest mechanic you will ever meet. They will not do work unless you need it. I had my brakes checked. He came back and said that I had at least 1500 more miles on my brakes. I waited, came back 1500 miles later and received a fair price. However two days later my car started making a horrible noise. They had me bring it back immediately. Found it was a failed part and replaced again under warranty at no charge. I had no way of knowing if this was a different problem but fortunately, I had an honest mechanic who takes care of his customers.
