“Style House is the go-to for local merch that resonates with actual locals. If you're planning an event and need a design, I recommend working with Style House.”
“My favorite place to purchase soap, candles and room sprays. The friendly staff is AMAZING and always wraps up my gifts so beautifully. They treat me like the princess baby of the family that I am! ? Thank you to the two ladies there today who were so kind!”
“Abigail's is such an amazing place to shop and gem of a store to have in South City and even StL overall!! Love being able to shop local and we are so fortunate to have such fabulous options with Abigail's store!”
“The Cat’s Meow is my go-to place for personalized gifts, especially baby gifts. The quality is fantastic and the turnaround time is amazing. And while I’m there shopping for gifts I always manage to find something for myself from their great assortment of women’s clothes. I love buying things there because the quantities are limited and you don’t see people wearing your outfits everywhere you go.”
“Actually to be honest with ya'll I've been shoping at eclipse ever since I was a teenager and it's been a awesome and cool experience every time I shop there frfr and I would always recommend anyone and everyone to go shop at eclipse the employees there are very respectful and helpful and very awesome individuals it's a great experience every time I promise you”
“Urban Matter is a Tower Grove treasure trove. Located in the heart of the South Grand shopping and dining district, Urban Matter is a local, women-owned small business with something special for everyone who visits! Ten pictures are far too few to showcase this shop's beautifully curated collection, but these are a handful of our favorites. My husband and I were especially drawn to the honey, tea, fruit spreads, seasonings, and kitchenware; we are foodies after all. Bundle up to support Urban Matter this week, and be sure to give yourself plenty of time to browse. There's a lot to shop!”
“My favorite shop in St. Louis. Anyone who lives nearby should make this their regular go to for pantry, under the sink and bath products! I love that I can bring my empty containers and refill them with great, ethical products. Also great for books, plants, gifts, decor, and if you’re lucky you’ll get to meet Ted!”
“I want to thank Edible Arrangements for a last minute quick turnaround on a super busy day! I ordered from 1800-Never-Again and the second year in a row they failed to deliver her gift! Edible Arrangements came in right when I needed them. It means the world to me that she still was able to get a nice gift because of them. Thank you so much to the whole team who worked so hard on Mother's Day.”
“I love this place! I took my daughter here for a cartilage piercing. It's the cleanest piercing and tattoo shop you will find anywhere. I used to get my piercings from here decades ago. Even though it looks very different they are still the best. Hands down.”

“In high school and college, the Sign of the Arrow was "the place" for needlepoint key chain fobs we'd gift our girlfriends when they got their drivers license or joined a sorority. I still have a needlepoint key chain fob my sister updated with my married monogram. I've been a needlepointer since college and this is a wonderful store with helpful volunteers from Pi Beta Phi. The store is a nonprofit that helps Pi Beta Phi's philanthropy. As a sorority woman, I like supporting Pi Phi's philanthropy while shopping for needlepoint supplies, a hobby I'm getting back into. They have great designs for the local schools and colleges, plus cute seasonal decorations and sorority gifts. Check it out and continue the tradition of the needlepoint key chain!”
“BoxLunch is always a neat place to stop any any mall, but I feel like they've stepped up their game. Today was the first time I actually wanted to purchase something from their store.
This particular location is small yet dense. If you like BoxLunch or are curious about what's inside, give this location a try.”
“A St. Louis institution that outsiders may not understand completely. Yet, deliciousness is hard to argue with especially when it's frozen and you're enduring a St. Louis summer. Cash & credit cards accepted. Speedy service.
Ted Drews specializes in frozen custards referred to as 'concretes' because they're quite thick. You can combine any number of mix-ins to customize the creamy and super-sweet cream base to your satisfaction. They have lots of suggestions to choose from or create your own.
This is definitely a local favorite and a great idea to try during a St. Louis summer!”
“I wanted say that I had the best experience at this shop! The sales person was super helpful and very pleasant. The lingerie selection was great and I got an awesome, festival worthy outfit too!”
“I live in NC so won’t have the opportunity to go to this store, but I highly recommend buying on their website! I became obsessed with a crazy expensive Bunny Williams lampshade and this is the Only place on the internet where I could get it shipped for free (over $175 ships free) Thank you so much for offering this to customers!”
“I stopped in to look for gifts, and they have some really cute cards! There are also candles, children's toys, artisan soaps, and other trinkets. I bought several items and the recipients were happy.”
“The spotted pig is the place to go for all o f the things! They have everything from decor, jewelry, tableware, skin care, and the cutest, most unique gifts! If you’re near by you MUST stop in, you will not be disappointed.”
“I enjoyed this gift shop- lots of cool items, like a 3-D printed dragon, and many fancy scarves. (Out of my budget, but enjoyable to look at).
The shop feels a bit hidden, on a lower floor, near the cafe. Great selection. Check out the sale area if you’re in a budget. Many great books and gift items. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.”
“Excellent arrangements. They had a few options ready to purchase. And lots of idea if you order in advance. It was very clean. Nice staff. Delivery options too. Everything look awesome hard to decide.”
“Unique women-centric items. Just fun one-of-a-kind retail therapy. Attended a Yelp! event here, but I'll be back. Also, location in City Foundry and West County Center.”
