During a bad storm on a weekend, we got two flat tires on the drivers side of our car. We had it towed to Gateway who was closed for the weekend and the holiday. When we got there Wed AM to drop off the keys and explain what happened, David already had a quote ready for us! Not only that, but they caught our bad brakes on the back before we had to buy rotors and offered to fix those for us as well. Prices were great, owner was honest and transparent, work was done in a day...all around amazing experience and we will absolutely go here first for any car issues moving forward!

Had a flat tire, they put on a used tire and charged me $85. You can definitely find a mechanic that is more affordable. I found out SALAMA Tire Shop up the street charges $40 to fix a flat tire, oh and that includes the tire and service!! Definitely go to Gateway Auto if you want to be overchargedService: Tires

We are stranded on 10th street because a screw made our tire go flat. After we went to wedge tire to have them air it up and they turned us away with my 5 month old in the car Gateway plugged my tire and aired it up. I forgot to mention that my kids father walked to the gas station near gateway tire for a can of fix a flat the gas station didn't have any but the man at gateway tire didn't sell it but found a can of it in the back and sold it to us. It didn't fix the tire but my kids dad took the tire off and gateway didn't turn him away to fix it like wedge tire did when they wouldn't air it up they made my kids father walk a mile to Gateway tire. Thank you Gateway tire for saving our day!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I don’t normally leave reviews - but Dave, the owner, is the prime example of a honest business owner. I am from Little Rock Arkansas me n my wife had come into STL for a Cardinals game left the hotel the next day to go home and the tire light went off on our 2020 mustang on 20" aftermarket wheels didn't really know what to do pulled into Gateway cause they were close they pulled the wheel off and found it was cracked 4 times which they are a tire shop not an aluminum welder which I knew noone there had no connections like home David went above and beyond to get me and my wife home pulled the wheel found it was cracked then called a local aluminum welder and took the wheel there himself and had it welded up yes it took all day but cause of David I made it home by 10pm that night and was able to be back running my business as planned the following day not many businesses like this still making it 150% recommend
