Worst Home Depot in St. Louis. Your south county store is awful I understand it's difficult to find people to work and even more difficult to find intelligent people but from manager down that store is filled with incompetent employees I was sent to your s. Lindbergh store in St. Louis from sunset hills because of product availability Upon arrival I had to search down associates to help locate the item for which I had a barcode They couldn't "find" it. It was a "lost pallet" I offered to look myself And found it Found the associate again to help load Went to pay with a store credit In my husbands name He wasn't present but I had his license They wouldn't let me. I simply asked them to use common sense as my license has the same address as him. No again. Please let the associate wearing the mask know that Covid isn't a thing and she doesn't even wear it properly. The manager Harris was without common sense. i called fter going back to sunset hills and making the purchase as I tried at S Lindbergh. No issues at sunset hills either time because they are intelligent, friendly and use common sense. South County does not. They didn't want to listen to me when I called so take note of their poor customer service along with their lack of common sense.

I always feel somewhat overwhelmed in a big box hardware/home improvement store. The staff at this location are friendly and helpful, making it easy to find what I need.

Nice looking plants in the outside garden area. I wish there were more selections for herbs. I wanted lemon grass but could not locate any today.Checker was nice, but not very helpful in locating the plant I was looking for.

DO NOT PURCHASE A MAYTAG WASHER AND DRYER SET FROM HOME DEPOT! My husband and I bought a Maytag top load washer and dryer set $1820 on 3/3/23 these items had to be ordered. They were delivered on 3/18/23, I was doing a load of wash on 4/6/23 and got an Error code of F3E2 for which required a service technician to come out. The service technician didn't come out until 4/18/23 at which time I was told it needed a new motherboard and hose. Mind you it is BRAND NEW he said 2-5 business days to get the parts. Today is day 5 and NO ETA, this is totally unacceptable and I have been having to go to the laundromat since 4/6/23 Why is Home Depot selling appliances they can't even BACK UP?? I am totally disgusted and will NEVER BUY A MAYTAG AGAIN!

I placed a curbside order at this home depot on a Wednesday afternoon and picked it up Wednesday evening because I was eating dinner in the area. It's easier for me to do this and have what I need ready instead of having to go inside and find someone to help me because I can't figure where the screws are and where the size I'm looking for is. The lady who delivered my order was friendly and would not take the tip I offered. Hey, I tried. I'm sure I will be back.

This is the best HD. We have come to have a relationship with many of the associates. They are all so willing to assist and take time out of their day to help us. We have gotten to the point that we don't even like visiting the others in the area.

Please tell Amber in the paint department that she is a great employee!! She was happy to help me lighten up some existing paint I had gotten from Home Depot to help it match better. She had a great attitude, was very knowledgeable and was patient with me. She also didn't make fun of me for having a cat! Please give her a raise!10/10 would recommend!!

This is Big shout out to the store manager Jennifer. My 90 year old friend and neighbor bought and paid for a new microwave. The time display was difficult to read. After having repair men come out. Ordering parts. The wrong parts showed up. After getting the right parts it was determined by GE that it was actually a glitch in the engineering.At this time we tried going to the appliance department at HD. Unable to help we were sent to contacting GE. No help at all.I convinced her to go back to the store and talk to the manager. Boy oh boy, I had No Idea we would be treated with such kindness & respect.JENNIFER gave me hope in humanity!She allowed Val to pick out the microwave of her choice and had it replaced. She made us feel like we mattered. Thank You Jennifer!!!!

The bad: many of the employees are not knowledgeable or helpful. They are still running the "get your water tested and get a free gift card scam. This location is the worst in the area. The good: they have plenty of stock at good prices. The store is clean.
