I lived here for 21 months. At first it was great then new management and they lost their great maintenance team . From there on smoking of weed and cigarettes were in both buildings. Plumbing issues constantly. Loud neighbors. You can hear everything and from your apartment if your on first or second floor . Couples arguing and fighting in hallways and outside . The man in 206 above me continues to be lifting weights and dropping them my apartment would shake . Which caused my dog to bark at his unnecessary loudness . I sent multiple emails from my first nights there. Nothing was done. Slamming of doors also . At my move out I transferred apartments. They do not do a throughout walk through before . I had a different manager say oh we don’t charge for this or that. They charged 150 for touch up paint on filled holes on a textured wall. It has popcorn ceilings to cover up. They paint the tubs and don’t use proper paint . They put in “ green lightbulbs “ and they were not out but will charge you if they go out . Also you are responsible for smoke detectors also if battery goes out or needs replaced during your stay it’s on you. Blinds are 10 plus years old taped to be held up and if they fall and break it’s on you to repair . Basically once you rent it all maintenance is on you. They will close a ticket and will not repair anything, I had sink issue and a blind break asked for it to be replaced and Will came over plunged it with s dirty plunger from office and left. Closed ticket . Never replaced it or cleaned up mess from sink . Lied said he did at move out . My dog is s service dog was charged full non refundable deposit . She is poddy pad trained which was on tiled floor only which I even cleaned the grout monthly and floors 2-3 times per week . Never once did she poddy on hardwood floor. I steamed my floors 1-2 times a week .I have 4 witnesses!Bottom line they over charge and there is no wear and tear they charge even though oven was going out took 1 hour to heat up to 400 and microwave vent was taped up . you can’t make it a home . If you are bare min then it’s great long as you don’t need sleep . Cause of loud neighbors you won’t get it no matter what shift you work .

Pleasant staff, quiet residence, and have all the accomodations for a busy and productive life. Great for students and retires as well as anyone who wants to have affordable housing with all necessary amenities. Staff members Will and Trey are awesome as they do their 110% to overcome any challenges. I experienced a smooth application and move in process thanks to their dedication. ?

The staff team here at CWE has been amazing. They are quick to fix things and make sure that it is up to a high standard. I usually get a wave every morning on my way out to work from Will or Brittany. Recently my car battery died and insurance didn't cover a tow, so I got a new battery, brought it home, ready to DIY with a YouTube video and realized I didn't have a socket wrench. I went up front to ask if they had one I could borrow and Will offered to just change my battery in my car.I went from an awful place that had moldy carpets to a place where my landlord staff helps replace car batteries. I'm glad to call this place home.

Leased here in a last-minute panic as my previous apartment was getting torn down, the ordeal as a whole was harrowing but the Gallery staff (Brittany, Trey, Will, and Jennie to name just a few) worked like heroes to make everything on their end as accommodating as possible

The Gallery Apartment offers affordable and diverse housing options for undergraduate and graduate students. The average rental prices are lower than those of other apartment complexes. The buildings have undergone periodic renovations, ensuring a comfortable living experience. Additionally, the staff at the Gallery Apartment is prompt and friendly. When I needed to terminate my lease agreement midway, they handled my urgent situation efficiently.

Have leased at two different properties for a total experience of 4 years. These experiences overall were mostly ok and even good at times, just not very consistent. Changes in staff mean major changes in customer experiences. Lease enforcements vary, with deference given to the properties owners/leasing office. This means you may be told that you need to something because “it’s in the lease” but then at times, they may not do what it says in the lease that they are supposed to do. Kind of one sided. Quality of facility care and attention varies widely-from great to at times poor. Just set your expectations to average and you should be fine. If cost is a primary concern, they have properties that are definitely more budget friendly.

Trey is the sweetest and most attentive agent we have had! Incredibly thorough with details and info about the floor plan and neighborhood. 100% recommended

All I have to say is that William Angermann, the current property manager, is a white racist bully, who has basically targeted me, and he is in the process of evicting me. OH! And let me tell you. I lost my job, had to go on unemployment, and applied for state rental assistance through the SAFHR program here in Missouri, and they are still evicting me! How dare they?!! A bunch of unprofessional people. Anyway. The place is a dump as Nicole mentioned. Don't rent here! You have been warned!

Lived here for five years! The two year mark was amazing then after it was horrible! They have bugs, tics in my unit and brown silver fishes. They've used so many different pesticides it's caused health problems. This year, you can't opt out of having your unit sprayed! The neighbors are hit or a miss. The neighbor below me is Satan's child with her horrific loud music and the neighbor beside them has domestic violence! The neighbors on my floor are loud too. The walls are so thin! The maintenance gets things done. NOT on a timely manner but will get it done the first time.. the staff here have gone down hill terribly! I'm happy Trey is no longer the PropertyManager! She was very dismissive and abrasive! She believed that I was making things up when I told her the neighbor below me was loud. Who does that?! The apartment I live in is 3 years old. I've requested annually for maintenance to fix my unit for certain things and it just gets placed on a damn waiting list that seems to take ages to get fixed. At this point I have given up. Just Nickle and dime me when I leave. I've grown out of this apartment and what they can provide. The apartment complex has gone downhill. I've had packages stolen, I've had the staff ignore my voice-mail and emails. I'm just over this place. It's sad because maybe if they had a decent amount of empathy they'd do somewhat okay. The rest of these 5 star reviews were forcefully asked! 2020 I agreed to write a 5 star review then I thought about it and decided to give them their real rating which is a ONE! they don't deserve more! Especially since I've lived here for 5 years. I get treated like crap here. If you decide to lease from them make sure you check which apartment you're moving into! Check for bugs, cracks, water damage and more! Believe me there are better apartments in the city than here!!! I'm just being transparent!

My apartment in Gallery CWE is the perfect place for me. The management is so kind and they have been immensely helpful from the time I first inquired about these apts to now. I have lived here for 8 months and have loved every second. The building itself is extremely secure and I feel super safe living as a single woman. It is also gorgeous and has lots of historic details that show its prewar beauty. Cannot say enough about this place. I will definitely continue to live here for the foreseeable future. :)

I DO NOT recommend Brandonview LLC DBA Gallery Apartments (529 Whittier) as a place to live because I encountered a Brown Recluse spider problem and how long it takes to repair and/or to replace appliances (more pictures are on Yelp under Mister R review). There was an ongoing Brown Recluse spider and other pest problem in my apartment. I first reported the spiders in September or October 2020 because I set my own traps after seeing the Brown Recluse spiders. See Exhibit 6. In June 2021, I was still having the same issue (about 8 to 9 months later). These spiders can be dangerous to humans. Please see Exhibit 1-5.The leasing office suggested that I use peppermint oil in-between treatments. Brandonview LLC is responsible for pest control to provide a livable environment and a Brown Recluse problem for eight months is major issue. The leasing agent(s) tried to downplay how dangerous these spiders can be to humans. It took two weeks to replace my microwave after it stopped working. Please see Exhibit 8.It took almost one month to repair/replace my washer and dryer combination. Please see Exhibit 7.I requested a call from a manager on June 24, 2021 about the ongoing Brown Recluse spider problem. I was sent a link to the exterminator’s website and the exterminator contacted me. I do not understand why a manager did not contact me. Apparently, the exterminator could not get rid of the spiders so why would I need to speak with him since the issue has been ongoing for over 8 or 9 months. The final straw was on July 9, 2021 (my 60 day notice to vacate was already submitted) when Trey allowed the exterminator to enter my apartment without giving me prior notice. This is a lack of professionalism and an intrusion of privacy to enter a tenant’s apartment without notice because I could have had very personal items laying around. She tried to justify it by saying you requested the service. Yes, I did but I did not expect the pest problem to exist months later. And I am sure the exterminator gave advance notice to Brandonview LLC he would come to treat my apartment.During my walk-through with the guy from the office (I think his name was Will), the apartment was cleaner than when I arrive except I forgot the ceiling fan (the only issue found). Almost immediately he said to clean the fan it would cost $25. It shouldn’t cost $25 to clean one ceiling fan. Brandonview LLC can nickel and dime tenants yet it cannot repair or replace appliances in a timely manner. See Exhibit 9.I hold Brandonview LLC 100% responsible for my poor experiences as a tenant because it hired the leasing agents to conduct business on its behalf. Your leasing agents need to understand this was a business transaction. I pay rent for the apartment and the landlord is responsible for pest control and repairs in a timely manner.Update as of 10-27-21 and response to owner:I think "serious allegations" is exaggerated. I am not accusing no one at Brandonview LLC of harming tenants. My review is for the next prospective tenant so he or she can see the service offered by your company to me. There is no need to discuss the matter in detail because I am no longer a tenant.

Typically, when you think of apartment-living, you might think of what life would be like outside of Gallery CWE. All of the problems I've associated with my past apartments simply don't exist here. The complex is EXTREMELY well-managed by the highly-responsive and helpful staff. Maintenance requests are taken care of absurdly quickly here.At this point, you might think, "Well, what about the neighbors." The neighbors here, particularly at the location Washington Avenue, have been extremely courteous and respectful. I've lived here for over a year and not once have I been awoken in the night from partying neighbors. The apartment complex itself is extremely safe. There are three security measures just to get in. Additionally, there are security cameras capturing everything in the highly unlikely chance of anything bad happening here.I cannot say this enough. The apartment is great. The staff are great. The price-point is absurdly good for what you get.I continued to recommend apartments managed by the folks that manage Gallery CWE. Trust that anything done by the great people that run these apartments is done well. You will not be disappointed -- not even in the slightest.

I have lived here for 9 years! I absolutely love the staff! Any concerns or minor issues that I have ever had were addressed immediately! It is very quiet here and the hallways are always pristine! There’s no place like home!!! And for me this is The Gallery Apartments in the CWE! Keep up the awesome work Trey, Will, Rick and Yesenia!

I found Gallery CWE via a Google search when I needed a new apartment and an affordable one. From the start, Trey has been immensely helpful. The apartments are beautiful and an amazing value. You can't beat the location - you are central to so many things. Love this complex!
