I guess I could've dodged the bullet by reading these google reviews.. but unfortunately I didn't.My main concern was the constant loud noise from my downstairs neighbor, who used a subwoofer speaker. The noise was so intense that it seemed to travel up the walls. Expecting assistance, I approached the staff for mediation. Unfortunately, their response was far from helpful. They were not only passive-aggressive but also dismissive of my complaints. Their remarks like 'the noise wouldn't go up' and 'none of the other units are complaining' were both unprofessional and invalidating, especially considering the shared wall and clear audibility of the noise in my unit. And I never had staff members enter my unit during my lease without my presence for showings to future tenants with other leasing offices. They did not ask for any consent but just sent an email notice. It's ridiculous... I was out of town and worried about what might happen in my unit.I have had experiences with many leasing offices in the past, but this particular instance stands out due to the lack of empathy and effective resolution from the staff. It's disheartening to see such negligence towards genuine tenant concerns. This experience has significantly impacted my stay, and I feel compelled to share it so that potential tenants are aware of these issues before deciding to move in.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!! Would give negative stars if I could. I’m a current resident who has had nothing but bad experience working with everyone at Frontdoor St. Louis, specifically Ben, Kensha, and Austin. They are all very rude and do not provide quality service in the slightest. This is the type of service I’d expect from a leasing company that charged half the rent that these guys do.Most recently, a toxic chemical was left out in my apartment after a maintenance request (I wasn’t home and wasn’t aware these chemical was going to be brought out during the maintenance request) and when I told the leasing office that I was concerned my kitten could have gotten into the substance, they took no responsibility, gave me no apology, hung up on me, called me rude, and then Kensha specifically threatened to illegally cut my lease short and “call my mother” (exact words). My cat has a seizure disorder, which seemed to magically appear when I moved into this apartment complex.DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU VALUE THE LIFE OF YOUR PETS!Management has never heard of the word professionalism and can’t be bothered to respond to justifiably concerned tenants. Live ANYWHERE ELSE!! I promise, I’d rather live in a place with bugs than live in this terrible establishment.Front door St. Louis could not be a WORSE COMPANY to do business with. Don’t waste your time, and tell your friends to stay away!! Trust me!

FRONTDOORSTL POISONED MY CAT and I got a rude response instead of an inch of an apology. Tried contacting Austin the manager 3 times by phone and 4 times by email with no response in the span of months. Kensha the leasing agent is very rude. Leasing agents are incompetent. Everything is broken and you get no response ever. DO NOT LIVE HERE if you value your living space.

In the past 5 months I’ve had my vehicle broken into twice on their theresa location. Not only do they not make a single effort to instill trust with their tenets they brush off the incident too many times. Time and time again I’ve asked and pleaded to the office about old air filters and mold but I’ve been “assured” that it’s been cleaned lol I don’t know doesn’t seem right to me. I would replace the filters myself if the air duct wasn’t 13ft up in the ceiling and upon asking for a replacement they mentioned it was replaced recently lmao I’ve been here 2 years now haha how recent can it be ? I put one star only because I can’t put zero.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Plz believe all the bad reviews they are telling the TRUTH!!!Frntdoor Management are LIARS!!!! They only interested in your Money!!!I moved into a new building Summit Ave. It very nice quiet and clean But tryna reach Management is ridiculous you gotta email cuz when you call no one answers and voicemail is full. The intercom don't work.I gotta go downstairs to get my deliveries and let in guest. I reported it Management they email you back when they want to tell say a ticket was put in. Appt days later or they cancel it the day of.This place was built to fast in my opinion. You need a fob to enter everything that malfunctions. floors are unleveled, ceilings look like they have water leaks, and they mandate you get renters insurance. Within a month my power went out in my child bedroom all outlets in the room the work. Heat don't come through. I had purchas heaters.I'm waiting for an appt and email response. When I moved in the bathroom toilet was dirty permanent toilet bowl stains that won't come clean. I'm so ready to move out!!!! I'm so annoyed with them. If things don't get better, I won't be renewing.Oh yea so before I moved in I was dealing with Erica unprofessional at times she's a liar and once you in she stop answering your calls and emails. I have section8 the process took long to process I needed a one shot deal fromPA that failed after several months of trying she continue to threaten me to say Management wouldn't hold the apt. So I borrowed the money cuz I like the place. I should have just waited. Don't be fooled by what you see! I'm glad I have a program cuz I can move if they fail inspection....Runnnn

Awful security deposit practices. Did not show up for walk through, did not initiate return of deposit, and deducted a lot including $400 for repainting. However, we loved the apartment they leased us.

I would give this leasing company negative stars if I could. Stuff is always breaking, the maintenance man flooded my apartment and did tons of damage while he was trying to replace the dishwasher. They do cheap work when they do repair things and horrible carpentry. The elevator breaks down all the time. And sometimes for 24 hours. I just would never recommend living in any of their apartments. We have been here for four years and in that four years have never been able to get consistent mail and package service and the only solution they have offered to us is to have all of our mail sent to their leasing office so then we would have to drive there daily to get our mail. If the ground level restaurant is not open, the front door is locked to everyone except for residence. That includes USPS mail workers and other delivery services. We also have gone extremely long periods of time without them taking out our garbage causing us to get bugs. Keep in mind they want to charge $2000 or more for these apartments.Edit to add: after reading other reviews from the last several months, knowing that I’m moving out this weekend, I’m already mentally preparing for them to try and blame us for damage that their employees have caused this apartment or stuff they never cleaned up from the prior tenant. There’s literally still silly string inside one of the closet doors that the prior tenants child had gotten on the wall. They also didn’t deep clean the carpets before we moved in like they said they would. Or barely clean the apartment at all as far as I can tell. I was pregnant when we moved in and had to do all this deep cleaning myself before the baby came.

First of all “Keenan” is a world class goof who was PAID for his review. Second this company is irresponsible, disrespectful, and a bunch of liars! I mean they will tell you the sky is green when you can look up and verify! No care to r concern for its residents… they sit on their hands for sport ! Only addressing select issues! It’s a joke…

Ignore all the negative comments. They must be from competitors or someone who had one bad experience and are exaggerating.I just completed my first year of my lease and I’m renewing. I’ve had nothing but a good experience with all staff members on my property and in the main office. The staff on my property always seem happy and stop and talk to them everyday. I pay $1,075 a month for rent that includes everything. Very few places have all inclusive rent in St. Louis and you won’t find a better deal, especially for a 920 sq. ft loft. I’ve only had to submit a maintenance request a few times for minor issues (loose cabinet door, slow draining bathroom sink, request to increase the hot water temperature control on the water heater in my apartment) and they were resolved same day or next morning. If you are renting a place, especially in a community building, everything isn’t going to be perfect. If you had N ideal living environment, then buy your own property. I absolutely love my loft that I rent from Frontdoor and if you rent from them you will be very happy with your decision.

Lots of options for apartments and lofts in the City of St Louis primarily, new construction as well as gorgeous historic properties that have been converted. Maintenance is responsive when we are locked out or have an issue, but hardly anything goes wrong. Rent is overall high but we appreciate the amenities and care provided. Leasing office takes care to receive packages and hold them safely for pickup so nothing goes missing. Tenants in my experience seem to be med students or young professionals, a few families with very young kids. Occasional 420 smell in the hallways.

I would leave 0 stars if possible. This is the worst company you could possibly go through in the whole city- do not give them your money. Specifically Austin (property manager who can never be bothered to actually work or be in office).. but This whole property management team is dishonest, greedy, unprofessional, and disrespectful. We were sold on this unit in Sep 2019 on a complete lie from Mitch (not employed there anymore).. they acknowledged they lied the day after we signed the lease and were given the keys...They are unresponsive and lack communication unless its to harass you. They've threatened us over things that they state are in the lease that ARE NOT and they illegally tack on fees while refusing you to allocate your money the way you prefer. They've stolen about $700 from us in the past several months on illegal fees. On top of all of this, the ceiling has leaked from improper maintenance every summer and we've been reporting a rodent problem in the building for a year and a half. They have a D rating on the BBB too. trust the reviews- dont live here

If you want to rent with a leasing company that will do literally nothing about other tenants making construction-level noises until 2AM every other night, then FrontDoorSTL is the company for you! Not only that, but they'll make YOU leave if you have to take actions into your own hands because they sat on their hands for three straight months. At least I have a good civil court case!

Avoid any and all of their properties like the PLAGUE! The “management” is shady, unprofessional and is just flat out classless. They allow their employees to shack up at their units and the rules do not apply to them. There’s a total creep that works for them who spends his free time scouring the parking lot and chain smoking cheap cigarettes from dusk til dawn. They sure do have some real WINNERS working for them.

Current resident and I hate it here. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else. I reached out to management about a noise complaint. I was told to record the noise. I recorded the noise disturbance and I was informed that it sounded like a unbalance washing machine AND they could not tell people when to do laundry. Wait what!? So as a management company you can’t tell people it’s not courteous to do laundry at 12:30 AM. The noise was in my bedroom so I asked if the laundry of the person above me was located above my bedroom…no response to that question. I was also told that was an “overpersonal issue”. I asked about breaking my lease because this was not the first, third, or fifth noise incident. I was told that I would have to pay the entirety of my lease…which is roughly $18,000. I’ve rented several places and I have NEVER heard anything like this. Not to mention this clause is not in the lease. As someone who has worked in multi-family communities, I know that is is possible for management to intervene however it seems that Front Door is only concerned with getting your money NOT that you enjoy your home after you paid them. Do yourself a favor and do not rent here definitely slumlords!!**Update** I relocated to another unit in the building and the noise is worse. I was working from home and they could hear the noise on the Zoom call. I can also clearly hear the lyrics to the music and their conversations. Please please please do not rent here. Poorly built apartments.
