Don't get me wrong it's a great place to shop but the guy who runs the cleaning company there needs to be fired Director hires people who do not work and he will not fire them I noticed the food court is always dirty with black stuff all over the floors which turns out to be kitty litter the supervisor uses to soak up spills then the bathrooms never get cleaned until the mall closes at night when they mop the floors soap is not used. He wonders why he can't keep good people this is why and it needs to be investigated by the state of Missouri. How do I know this I used to work there and seen first hand what happens there I left because the director makes you feel like you are lower than dirt there's no point in even really putting this here because nothing will get done about it

I've been going to the West County Mall for years, and it used to be my favorite place to shop. Now, I'm unsure whether I want to go back. I had the most unpleasant experience a few nights ago. I was shopping with one of my friends, and a mall cop approached us asking for our ages. I told him I am 22, and my friend told the cop he is 18. The cop started freaking out, saying that you have to be over 18 to be in the mall, which is not true. He told us to leave, but we continued

First of all, I have frequented this store many times and have had lovely encounters with all of the girls working there. Except for my last trip. I was looking for a birthday gift for my daughter and upon arrival I was never greeted or acknowledged. I just shook it off as the employees being busy until I came across the manager, Gwyn, and when I asked for help she dismissed me and acted like she had more important things to do. Since she was no help the other girls thankfully stepped in and did her job for her. I wish I didn't have to only give two stars because usually the store is wonderful. Hopefully the manager will be more friendly to future customers so they don't have the experience I had.

Andy Goldacker ordered the mall security to chase the families off the mall garage parking lot rooftop where we have gathered for years to watch. For one hour on the 4th we and many other families have gathered with Kirkwood and Des Peres police officers, paramedics and firefighters. Tonight Andy ordered his gestapo mall security to chase everyone off. In these days of malls struggling to be relevant in these days of online shopping, he should have been up there reaching out to us as customers. A very amateurish decisions with consequences yet to be realized.
