Super Leary if who I let work on my cars. Knowing Jason through car community I chose his place so that I knew I’d be dealing with people that were going to treat my vehicle as their own toy!Fairway has been above and beyond both times I’ve used them for alignments. (Lowered vehicle friendly) checking back later in the week to see how the vehicle is doing. Really appreciate that and any work I can’t tackle in my own is going to be given to fairway a million times over!!!If you’ve had a bad experience here it’s because there was either a misunderstanding, you’re not fimiliar with the cost of auto repair and how an ESTIMATE works.Six stars on the 5 star scale!

Most honest people I’ve met in a while. Fast service and great communication. Will be going back to them for any car needs while I am here in Saint Louis. Hands down the best! They will feed you breakfast too ❤️

Friendly and fast! I called several of the larger shops before because they just came to mind and I needed only an emissions test. Then I recalled a flyer I received from Fairway and gave them a call. They said bring it over. They had me in and out under 30 minutes. Nice and clean waiting area with several amenities. And again, friendly as well.

I'm a new customer, treated with the up most respect. They were very Welcoming, inviting. They let me know what was going on, with information sent directly to my phone even before they talked with me. Offered refreshments while I waited. But I didn't have to stay & wait, they offered me a ride home while the wrk was being completed. I'm definitely a customer for sure. I'll give them an A+ grade. Thanks Fairway Automotive.

Amazing experience! I got an appointment last minute for an emissions test and safety inspection. Stacy at the front desk helped me narrow down what I actually needed for the DMV and they had me in and out within 30 minutes. The mechanics explained everything and provided all the paperwork needed. Thanks to the whole Fairway Automotive team!

I was really impressed with this place. They were very flexible with my schedule, even gave my husband a ride home after dropping off our car. The price was more than fair, we were expecting worse. They promised to have the car by the end of the day and they did! Most importantly, everyone was just nice. So, we will definitely be using them from here on out

They go all out for holiday decorations which I love. Great customer service. And they have a great online customer portal where all your car maintenence info can be accessed. Very streamlined.

As a gay, I hate getting my car stuff done. Straight guys are rude everywhere you go. They talk down to you, they try to squeeze you for every last penny. But this place is the first place I have felt truly welcome, cared for. Idk. I just really appreciate the staff. I recommend them to everyone I can.

We have been going to fairway since we move here in 2020 and am so thankful to have a trustworthy regular shop to take care of our cars! I have always felt respected as a customer no matter what I do or don’t know about cars. They are upfront about costs and have a great system for approving what you want done and your options. We love Fairway!

It was crunch time for me getting my tags for my car. I was referred here and lete say it felt like a family member. They were accommodating and so friendly. I found my place for friendly service with a smile and easy process of taking care of business. I was impressed with regulars coming in and interacting. This is the place for me. I brought my car in on a Thursday afternoon and they were able to get it looked at almost immediately. My car was bought through Carvana and I ended up having to take it somewhere else due to the constraints of Carvana's warranty, but everyone at Fairway Automotive was so kind and helpful during the claims process before I ended up having to move it. I spent a lot of time in communication with Chip, who was very friendly and made sure to keep me updated every step of the way. I will definitely be coming back!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Update****The owner has contacted me and apologized as well as issued a partial refund. He also explained that they had to fix the initial problem in order to discover that the transmission needed a total replacement. I accept this and appreciate the accountability and the apology.I called fairway about my daughters car having transmission issues. Everyone I spoke with was really friendly. So I told my daughter to have the car towed over there. My daughter pointed out that there was a previous review stating fairway does not fix transmissions so I called them back and asked if that was true. The person on the phone assured me they do work on transmissions and the person that wrote the review was mad because they needed a new transmission and they did refer him to someone else. So they called the day after to tell me they felt they could fix it and that it would cost $1750.00. They did say that they could not guarantee that there was not permanent damage to the transmission but they felt really confident that the repairs would get the car back on the road. I agreed to pay and they made the repairs. They called to say the car was running great, the repairs had fixed the issue they had run many tests. Great! I paid the $1750.00 my daughter picked up her car and 10 minutes later she called to tell me the car was exactly the same. I called Fairway they told me to bring it back in. The next day they called to say the car needs a new transmission and it will cost $10,000. I swear to God that’s what they said. It’s a 2013 Ford Focus, it’s not worth$10,000 so I told them obviously we’re not going to do that. We will have it towed to my daughters house as soon as we can. My daughter works and goes to school so she hadn’t had it towed within 4 days so Fairway calls me and tells me that if I don’t have the car towed it will eventually be impounded and that it’s getting ticketed because they parked it in the street. This was only 4 days after they told me it needed a new transmission. Also this time the tone was much different not super nice like the other times we spoke. I guess after they got the $1750.00 there was no need to be nice to me anymore. I wonder how many people they do this to. I’m sure they will reply and say I’m just bitter but I’m not. I’m just letting people know what happened to us personally. My daughter did pick the car up a couple days later there were no tickets. If you need a brake job it looks like they are capable based on previous reviews but if you are having transmission issues steer clear of Fairway.

When I called Fairway I was really stressed out and the manager answered and made me feel like everything was going to be ok! When I arrived I entered the coolest looking car shop waiting area in ever and I was greeted by manager Tim Rice! My check engine light was on and he plugged it in and showed me what the screen read. No one ever showed me like that before! Then he spoke with his mechanics and they gave me bad news but it didn’t even hit like that. The problem was a very specific Jetta problem and they referred me to the dealership but assured me if they gave me any trouble to come back to them and they would make sure I was ok! I have never received such amazing customer service at an auto shop!
