The facility is definitely nicer than some of the other YMCA locations in town. The locker rooms are up to date and seemed well kept. The sauna works great, especially compared to other Ys in the area. However, the free weight area is missing a few essentials for me (no incline bench? No fly machine?). It's a fine enough location if you're staying downtown and need somewhere to work out. I won't be making it my regular gym.

This women’s locker room at this location was Filthy ! There is no way they are cleaning everyday ! The steam room had a horrendous odor that smelled like strong cat urine ! All of the bathroom stalls needed servicing , there was built up scum around the sinks faucets ! I informed the front desk girl but she basically shrugged it off . I go to the Ofallon Park location everyday which is cleaned alll day ! It smells clean , it looks clean . This location is disgraceful .

An sleek outer appearance more inline to the jazz of nearby upscale hotels and ballpark village storefronts. The staff are eager to assist with personal recommendations in exercise equipment. The lighting captures an update modern feel and on a good day which are plentiful throughout the week you can walk in and witness a slew of members pumping it out. Then there are the others who prefer to quietly practice the shifting, holding, and rotating through aerobic activities. It's not the largest facility but it's consistent with its audience.
