Great selection of stuff in the store and great price as always. I was buying 15 vases and Sandy at the checkout was nice and offered us a box to carry them. The box was only big enough for about half so we asked for another. When we did Sandy had the biggest sigh ever because apparently this was such an inconvenience to her. So then she gave us our total, but then was bothered when I said I had a few more things that I hadn’t gotten out yet because I was trying to grab the box and move the vases. So when I said I had more there was another big sigh of inconvenience with a little attitude. If she didn’t want to ring me up maybe she could’ve just given me the rest for free. As we were walking away she proceeded to apologize to the people behind us for not sure what reason as the whole experience was less than 60 seconds. So if you go they have a great selection but be prepared for Sandy’s attitude because she has enough for everyone. Oh and to top it off they made sure we weren’t taking the cart outside to carry our 15 vases to the car by yelling across the store that the cart was not allowed outside.

Only reason why I came here all the time is because of the self checkout, it's the only DT in the area that has it BUT for whatever reason they started this stupidity and the self checkout is closed majority of the time. I asked an employee and she said they open only when it's busy which is a lie, Christmas time it was busy af, lines going around the store and all the self checkout CLOSED. Went to pay for my item in the ONLY open lane and got yelled at saying it was "closed" while it was clearly open and ready to go. It used to be my favorite DT and now it's this ghetto, just might as well remove the self checkouts altogether. Not coming back to this location ever again bc this nonsense stupidity, Lemay or Watson road locations is where it's at.

Sold an item 3 months past the best-by date. Guess I’ll be checking for this is the future. Buyer beware.

Dollar tree is one of my favorite places to visit for assorted items and crafting needs. The price is now $1.25 for the same things rather than $1 before, but that’s okay as I have adjusted my shopping accordingly. They also have more expensive things now. They have a selection of seasonal items that are worth browsing. I have enjoyed their kids section for crafting needs. The quality of their items can be subpar, and that is reflected in their prices. They have new self checkout options that makes shopping easier there. They have a good selection of kids birthday balloons. The kirkwood location is a clean store and it is always well stocked, i like shopping there. The employee seem friendly.

I was in the store at 8:30pm on a Sat night. The self-checkout lines were closed and there were at least 10 people in line waiting to check out.The checkout clerk said she was the ONLY employee in the store.Hence, what should have been a 5 min stop turned out to be 25 mins. How do you expect to keep good employees when you treat them like that?? Let alone, it’s horribly unsafe!!SHAME ON YOU Dollar Tree ?

This Kirkwood location was my favorite in St. Louis til now w a new staff & they changed the rules. For years we didn't need the receipt to exchange items for other items, which was great for a crafter like me for since we have to stock up on items we find knowing it will be gone by next visit but now w 4 long term employees gone, the new manager will not allow any exchanges now, so now I'm stuck w items i didn't care for or bought too much of. I use to spend average $500 month at this store, now they lost my businesses down to 1 trip a month and only $35-$50. I can no longer stock up & now need to start saving those receipts that fade out to just lose out. Please have this store go back to old ways, remove this manager if needed. She shouldn't come in and change a 5 year plus wonderful exchange system. Stop lumping the few theives against ur regular big spending crafters that need to crafter to help w low Disbility pay. Please consider going back to help bring back higher sales for this store.

This is our go-to place for cards. Instead of spending $5 - $8 for a birthday card or holiday card at Walmart or some other store, we stop in here and get a $1 card or sometimes two for $1. We got a really nice birthday card today and some flower pots for the new flowers we're planting.

Who doesn't love Dollar Tree? Best place to buy typical household essentials. Plus tons of other useful and/or fun items at a price that can't be beat.Happy a store is very close to home.UPDATE 11-10-22: There appears to be some issues with the Self-Chechout machines not always working due to programming issues.

The so called manager is the rudest manager you will ever encounter. Filling a corporate complaint.
