I am writing to express my profound disappointment and deep concern regarding an incident that occurred at your Dollar General store. Attached is a photo of the individual involved, who I understand to be the manager of the establishment.
This incident is not an isolated one for my family and me. While in line purchasing items for Teacher Appreciation Week, this individual subjected us to harassment and intimidation. He approached us in line and proceeded to unjustly accuse my 6-year-old child of wrongdoing. His aggressive behavior, including shouting at my child, was entirely unwarranted and unacceptable.
I refuse to stand idly by while a manager of your store exhibits such blatant disregard for customer respect and dignity. No one, especially not a child, should be subjected to such treatment while simply trying to make a purchase.
I made my displeasure known to the manager in question, emphasizing that I am more than capable of paying for any item my child touches and that his behavior was entirely unwarranted. Yet, his response only further confirmed his lack of professionalism and respect for customers.
I have taken the appropriate steps to report this incident through your complaint hotline, but I felt compelled to also share my experience here. It is my duty as a mother and a member of the community to warn others about this individual's behavior. I implore you to take swift and decisive action to address this matter internally and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.
I urge you to review the security footage from 4/7/2024 at 4:38 p.m. to corroborate my account of the events. It is my sincere hope that you will take this matter seriously and enact the necessary measures to prevent similar occurrences from happening again.

It’s now 10 after opening time and the manager is in the store just standing and staring. Ridiculous. I have a picture, but it’s not allowing me to share.

FILTHY! Dollar General cares absolutely nothing about the cleanliness and atmosphere of the black community and the customer who patronize their stores. You go into the white community and see nothing like the this!!!!! This store should be trashed!!!!! People spend their hard earned money here and deserves much better!!!!! Shame on Dollar General's CEO, Managers and etc.!!!!! Deserves a "0"!!!!!

The lady at the register denied my boyfriend service because he had a face mask on. She advised him that he would have to take his mask off I'm order to be served. When he put the items down and began to walk out she continued to holler "I dont care, I don't care". Rarely do we come to this store. You're better off going to the family dollar next door. Customer service is better.

I was pleasantly surprised how organized and stocked the store was the customers were nice the ones I encountered and the employees were very nice I was actually extremely surprised the neighborhood is extremely rough don't leave anything in your car or you will have your windows busted out definitely lock everything up in the trunk out of sight but the folks that work at this Dollar general are really good they are nice they seem to keep the store up and I found everything I needed relatively quickly so I say good job Dollar general a lot of these dollar stores are a disaster as most people understand.
