I brought my car in to get the brakes looked at due to soft brake pedal. They said I had to replace my master cylinder and brake booster. I then talked with my Uncle who was the mechanic who salvaged my vehicle and frequently works on that particular model. They are known to get air in the master cylinder. So I talked with Mike and he refused to even try to bleed the bleeder valve to see if there was air in the system. It cost me 1400 dollars in repairs and adjustments that could have possibly been avoided. If I had brakes I would have taken it to a different shop. I will not be returning to Dobbs ever again after this.

Best service and repair shop in the city!! They have alway given me fair prices and gotten my car in quickly even without an appointment. They were even able to fix a 2011 BMW and some repair shops won’t work on that make of vehicle but they were able to call in “master techs “ to diagnose any issues I had. The repairs on my starter and battery and their oil change made my car run like new ! And I’m very pleased with the shop managers too . Everyone I spoke to , from the front desk people , to the mechanics, were very polite and very professional. I highly recommend Dobb’s on Chippewa.

The website for this particular store had a $90 tire listed as the cheapest available at the shop but when I asked they conveniently were out of stock and the next cheapest tire was about $100 more than the one I wanted. He did say he would knock the price down to $150 since the one I wanted wasn’t in stock but offered me no details on the tire otherwise. Felt like I was being lied to for the sake of a bigger sale.
