Went to the Watson Woods Dierbergs market last weekend morning around 9am. I had a full cart of food when I was told there were no cashiers, hadn't been one all day. The store expected everyone to use the self-checkout. For a premium priced store they need to provide cashiers. I left my cart in front of one of the closed checkout lanes and departed the store. I wrote to the "contact us" only to receive no response.

Purchased Dierberg's gift cards through our church script program. Our church sells all kinds of script cards as a fund raiser in volumes. However, Dierberg's deducts 1.50 per month from their gift card balance after the card is 1-year old. I purchased a $100 gift-card that was only worth $75.00 when I shopped at Dierberg's. Not sure how Dierbergs legally gets by with this policy; but I will not go back to my church and ask them to pay the difference.Less than impressed with Dierbergs on their service level, their product level nor their integrity! Certainly not the Dierbergs that I am accustomed to!

I received some disappointing news that this organization does not allow fundraising outside their stores anymore... only for select organizations such as girls scouts. They claim to be all about the community and pour back into it but that is obviously not the case. So they move into our communities, take business away from small businesses in the community, then when organizations in the community ask a favor from the store (aka standing outside it and selling raffle tickets to support small private schools in the area like has been done for yrs) those organizations are told no. No explanation, just no. What harm is children selling raffle tickets to support their local sports teams and private schools hurting you, Deirbergs? Nothing "home town" about them. Just a big chain store with corporate policies no better than Walmart.

I have been shopping here since Iwas a child and I am 34 years old. Never in all of my days of shopping have I been accused of stealing. I have never stolen in my entire life and I have a clean record. I am disgusted and appalled. I definitely will never shop here again. This isthe highest insult I have ever been given in my life. I run a store alone at times, I am around thousands of dollars a day. Why would I go to your store and steal anything? I was followed around the store. I bought a cake and ate it. They watched me eat it. As soon as I went outside, they checked my bags and my book bag. Trying to publicly humiliate me. And what did they find? NOTHING. Obviously, if you followed me around a store, you would see that I had not stolen anything. I thought I was being paranoid that I was being followed because why would they follow me? I believe that lady was racist. I don't know why out of all of the shoppers, I am the one that was followed. Did you not see people with their reusable bags? Did you not see people with bookbags? Why was I singled out? Was it because I had on a beautiful dress with sparkling necklaces and a glittery scarf? Are you mad? I have dressed the same way and shopped here with the same bags befor, so why do we have a problem today? I feel betrayed and I can't believe you associated me with theft. How dare you! All day long, I run a store mainly by myself with a cash register full of money with no security guards yet I have never stolen from there and it isn't even my store! Are you insane? Go follow a person in a hoodie. Go follow someone who looks like they are trying to hide. Why follow me who is literally out in the open, buying a cake in front of you, sitting down to eat my cake and having a nice time? You ruined my nice time and I am never coming back. I have already called corporate. Every review website, I will trash talk you and you can best believe I will trash talk you on video too until I get an an apology

I came here as I grew up in St. Louis and Dierberg's or Schnuck's was where we shopped.The store looks a lot different than what I remember: brighter lights, more products, there is a club card. I wandered the aisles for the nostalgia with kidlet asking what we were doing here. I went to the dressing aisle and saw Imo's dressings were 2 for $6 so I picked up both flavors. I wandered by the bakery and saw Italian bread. While I knew it would not be bread I remembered from my childhood (Bommarito's bakery) it was the closest I could get. There was no price posted just that it was 20% off. Went to the self checkout and purchased my items. Was happy I did not need a club card as the scowling person working the checkouts did not seem like they would be inclined to help me out.As we were walking out of the store there was a security guard. Have not seen that in a grocery store before.There is plenty of parking but this parking lot is shared by a lot of other big box stores.I would have bought more (like Imo's proves cheese) but was limited by what I can pack in my suitcase and have it get home ok.

Bought total 10 cans of Fancy Feast (Ocean White Fish + Beef + Code & Shrimp). They were advertised as 99 cents, lowest price -which is not. Found out later, Walmart sells fresh ones 30 pack for $25.I opened 3 of the Ocean White Fish ones, they were dark grayish color, stunk so bad. Expiration date says Apr 2025. I think they stored them poorly and still trying to sell them.My cat didn't even get closer to them.Be aware! This location sells spoiled cat food!

When I spent close to FOUR HUNDRED dollars at your store, I expect someone to be there to check me out instead of having to do this myself. BTW, your detergent is FIVE dollars more than the other store...hmmmm

Great selection of produce, organic foods, and beer & liquor. The pre-made meals here are the best I've had from any grocery store, although some can be a bit pricey. The location is great as it is steps from the I-64 Brentwood metro stop, which is a godsend as I do not have a car. I've been shopping here regularly for a couple years now and have yet to have a bad experience. Aisles are always clean, food/alcohol displays are fun and eye-catching, and the selections are great. The wine section has choice wines displayed separately with descriptions of each, which is useful for people like me who are always looking to try new wines. Prices are generally slightly more expensive than Schnucks, but the overall experience is better, and the location is unbeatable if you utilize public transport, making Dierbergs my preferred grocery spot in the St. Louis area.

Great Beer Selection | Clean | Cool Breakfast Display! Was super pleased with my visit here & love that there's at least one grocery artist among the staff who put together a really impressive breakfast display! High five for playing with your food - I love it!!!!

I like the Deli Dept the most. Their prepared meals are Second to None! And the great selection of Gluten free, dairy free foods is larger than most.

I am working in St. Louis and living here part-time, so I really wanted to find a great supermarket similar to mine at home in Florida, and I must say, Dierbergs fits the bill! It is a cross between my Florida local (Publix) and Whole Foods. It is very clean, very well laid out and well organized and they have a huge amount of products! The produce section is large and the fruits and veggies are all very fresh. The butcher, the bakery, all fantastic! ANd the best part- all the smoked meats they have! Ribs, chicken, and the best- the smoked chicken wings- OMG! I love them! They also have a Chinese takeaway at the front of the store, and while not the best Chinese I have ever had, it was good enough to grab something for dinner if you are so inclined. All in all, I look forward to coming to Dierbergs!

few Months ago purchased two steaks . "Sell by " date was 4 days out but after a few days the steaks started looking brown . Peeled off the label to find they covered up the old label and the steaks had actually expired . Got a refund but No apology when I spoke to them . Hard to believe any reputable grocery would do this .

This store is heaven sent!! Just moved my daughter from Texas to St.Louis to attend Wash U!!! Wanted her to have a taser of home bc we are originally from New Orleans.. I was ecstatic to see GULF SHRIMP and bar b q shrimp mix!!! Now when I visit I can make gumbo... I love this store
