We went in to get a rough appraisal on some vintage coats. Shirley was very personable, professional, and helpful. She explained the basis for her valuation and suggested some options for the garments in question. Nice shop.

I took my mens mink coat in to have a additional fox shaw collar added I was given a price that I agreed to.I was told it would be ready in two weeks I called to check if it was ready I was told they needed additional time because the furrier was sick.I waited another week checked it was told to me it was ready and I could come pick it up.When I arrived to inspect the work it was not the collar that I asked to be added I gave her additional time to correct the errorI was given one excuse after another. Finally she told me she would refund my money that I paid as a deposit and give me my cost backSo I came to collect my coatWhen I got it home I discovered the bottoms had been removed I called to inquire about my missing button s and I was given a ton more excusesThe shop owner became rerude and very nasty telling me to do what I please that she was sick of trying to please me.I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP IF you hear the name (RUN ) they are a scam. I feel lucky I got my coat back.

The best Vintage Furrier in St Louis, in all of Missouri! Ms. DeMay is so kind, Knowledgeable and an artist when it comes to fur restyling. She also does appraisals for insurance purposes.I’m excited to return again soon! Highly recommend her showroom as a must stop on Cherokee Row! She has beautiful curated antiques also.

Animals should not be skinned for fashion. This business profits from the murder of beautiful creatures.

This business has wildly white supremacist & ignorant messaging sloppily painted on their boarded up windows. They are a disgrace. They are located in Cherokee which is a racial diverse neighborhood. They subject the community to their hateful views which really serve to hurt the POC in this neighborhood. And that's their point. To hurt black & brown people. Do not patronize this business if you care about human rights.

Love talking with Shirley, have purchased 2 beautiful furs from her and have several friends who have as well. She stores them for a great price and I love to see her business thrive.

The taste and class of a JeffCo swap meet right in the heart of Cherokee's antique row. Why go out of your way to stop at Goodwill's dumpster when you can just pop in here without climbing in. I mean they have steps because they're not Ada compliant but you don't have to climb in this dumpster you can just walk right in. Bring meter /panhandler change.

I heartily endorse DeMay Furs. Their ethics and skilled services deserve high praise. They support our veterans who have given their efforts and even lives to keep Cherokee Street a free place to do honest business.

I chatted with the owner while there. She is an amazing artist. I say artist because she takes the old furs and makes new designs with them. Amazing work. Adds hoods to pieces you would think would look good, but yes totally made the jacket look one of a kind. She has antiques at the front of her shop, but the back is nothing but furs. Very high quality.
