I met up with the GBYI group to witness their Crossfit workout on a Saturday morning. The Ready 2 Live Gym is a newer growing gym where the serious workout factor meets great equipment and great environment. The management has opened their doors to our group, and inner city mentored teens are learning the value of healthy eating, physical workouts, mentoring, and academic enhancement. Ready 2 Live?? is a professional grade gym with heart.

Thank you to the team at Crossfit Ready 2 Live STL for a great workout during my recent work trip. I worked out with them twice at their new location at 1530 S Kingshighway Blvd. They use NCfit programming which I thought was awesome. A really great box with welcoming coaches.

Absolutely hands down the most wonderful, caring and supportive group and community. The owners and coaches are top notch and the programming is ?. As a physical therapist, I see the benefit of getting to work with such a respectable gym. The programming and scaling is very approachable but the workout are still challenging. And the people are ONE OF A KIND

Top notch gym. Very friendly vibe, great coaches, some of the best programming. Can't ask for more than that.

Dropped in randomly when visiting STL - owners were welcoming. Gym was very nice, clean. Plenty of good, quality equipment. Drop in fee was reasonable. Only disappointment was that they didn’t have any tshirts to buy! Excellent wod. Would definitely return when we are back in the area!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this gym and the people who make it work! Traveling from out of state for 4 months and have been here since day one. I immediately felt welcomed by all the members, coaches, and owners. This place made being away from family and friends for so long a little bit more manageable! 10/10 would come back to this gym for the people alone!

Dropped in on 3/3. Owner was welcoming and took us in even though there were no others for that time. Made up a great workout on the spot and stayed over to get to know us. Clean gym, plenty of space. I look forward to telling more people about this location. I’d say it’s a perfect spot for a both first time crossfitter and experienced level athlete.

When a friend talked my husband and I into giving CrossFit a try I was 48, out of shape and honestly thought I would never be able to do it. That was 7 yrs ago. I have lost 20 lbs and gained so much strength, endurance and grit. At CrossFit R2L, I never felt like I was doing it alone. Great coaches and a supportive atmosphere have kept me coming back and still striving to be the best version of myself I can be. Is CF hard? Yes, it doesn't get easier, you just learn how to do hard well. Thank you to the team at CF R2L for helping me keep my wellness mission on track! Best investment in myself I have ever made.

Wish I could put a zero star. I cancelled this membership in person with the owner, Kevin, and he failed to change it in his system. In my naïveté, I failed to ask for a copy of the document that I signed, and just found out that he has been charging me for the past 5 months. When I reached out to him, not only did he attempt to gaslight me by responding with "you never cancelled anything," but he also said, "A responsible consumer would of noticed these charges and would of continued to be in contact with the business to ensure their membership was cancelled." To this I respond: "Even if a consumer made a mistake, which in this particular instance I did not fail to cancel (check your cameras. I came in to cancel cause you told me I couldn't do it on the phone), an ethical business owner would not charge someone for services that they did not use, even one time, post coming in to cancel." I was still entitled to come in for a month and a half longer based on the money I had paid and was going to be paying based off of the 30 day cancellation policy, and I didn't come in even then.Is there truth in the reality that it would have been wise of me to keep a closer eye on my statements? Yes. Is him saying that a way to completely blame shift and take attention off of his deeply greedy, dishonest, and PREDATORY business practices? Yes. I have learned a lesson from this situation. I wish it didn't have to come via me being burned by someone who is more interested in protecting their stolen money rather than being an upstanding business person (upstanding human, really).I informed him that I would be leaving reviews everywhere about these egregiously predatory actions to which he responded "Cancel culture doesn't work anymore." I have no intention of cancelling anyone. I do however have every intention sharing my experience so that others do not have to suffer the same fate as I did. I am a massive advocate of supporting local businesses, and I think people ought to do so more often. I encourage others to use their money wisely though and to invest it in people and places that pour into the communities within which they are located rather than in people and places that selfishly take from and exploit those who are prone to trust rather than monitor every transaction on their cards, waiting to find malicious people's evil financial tactics. Also , "Cancel culture doesn't work anymore..." So you're saying you can do whatever you want without any repercussions??? That is an abhorrent way of conducting yourself. Take responsibility for your actions. Recognize the impact you have on people. Learn to be more concerned with truth rather than protecting your fragile pride.I find it so interesting that someone in the wellness industry would be so bent on tearing people down. I wish I would have recorded our conversation on the phone so you could hear how clear it was that he was in no way shape or form concerned with running an ethical business. I have attached screen shots to show what it is I am referencing in case he attempts to respond and dismiss my words as illegitimate, considering he began our interaction with, "that never happened." I asked him 4 times if he had seen me in the past five months. Not one time did he respond, even when I explicitly called him out for not doing so.

A great facility with a great staff! I've really enjoyed working out here the past few months and can't say enough about how great of a job they do educating new members on the basics and keeping you motivated during workouts.

Great gym with knowledgeable trainers, I really appreciate that their approach is to ensure you're using the right form before jumping up the weight, it'll help long term training health.

Great gym with great staff! The gym has motivating atmosphere for working out. They work hard to keep the gym clean and COVID measures are in place to prevent the spread of the virus.
