Amazing place My daughter's car broke down we live in a different state when they were so helpful they were her angels I can't think team enough .I am so thankful for all your help amazing mechanics trust worthy very honest people I highly recommend them Thank you for everything for helping my daughter out amazing place , highly recommended if anybody ever has problems that's from out of state that needs help this is the mechanic place to go I highly recommend them Thank you again you all are truly a blessing,

I like this shop. They do good work and don't try to push stuff on you that you don't need. It's always busy and that might bum you out, but in my mind, that is a sign of a good repair shop. People go here! So chill out. Take a breath, they know that you are tense and freaked out. Your car is broken! Relax, they will fix it.

I would highly recommend not taking your car to this shop. Dropped my vehicle of on 6-20-24 (a thursday)for inspections for new tags.i also had an appointment for that time. Waited patiently with no response till I called the following Wednesday which got me no answer. Was called at 3pm on 6-28-24 (Friday they are closed on weekends) and told everything was good to go paid the $1,785.00 (which i waa never given a quote for) happily which they also said the vehicle passed or why tell me it is done. Drove around the block and the car was performing poorly brought it right back within 10 mins. Then they wanted to break my engine down cause they don't know what they are doing. I said no and picked it up on 7-8-24. I have been without a vehicle since June 6th. The owner takes no responsibility and just makes excuses as well as can't communicate and showes no sense of urgency. Iwould highly recommend not taking a vehicle here unless you can go 3 plus weeks without a car (as I still don't have one), and overpay for inferior service. I have had to rent cars because they can't figure it out. June 20th to July 8th and finnaly had to cut my losses.
So to update you on Columbia Auto still no vehicle since 6/20/24. Had taken to another shop and towed to another. Columbia Auto installed the incorrect parts (which makes since why car runs worse) I have paid the other shop a further $500 to assess the inferior work they performed. The other shop will be documenting and putting this in writing. As you can see owner blames customers and makes excuses I have all dates and times saved. I am a contractor it's like if your bathroom was just redone and a tile falls off the wall right away and I make up stupid excuses. I have all the documentation. Joe the owner I'm not sure if he even knows what he is doing.
Also the owner Joe is lying he gave me one ride home and never called to authorize the work that was done incorrectly that I paid 1.7k for. Clearly just making excuses.
It is currently 7/15/24 and have not been with a vehicle since 6/20/24 when it was dropped off at Columbia Auto repair. Just a terrible shop better to let your car rust than deal with a liar and excuse maker.

Great service (and fast)!
Called on a Monday afternoon, dropped my car off at 7:30am on Tuesday morning, and picked it up by 3:45pm same day with the problem solved. Very fair price for the work done. This was my first car issue since moving to the STL area and I’ll definitely be coming back to this shop for all my future repairs

Very happy with the service here. Had a fairly difficult repair on my wife’s Mercedes that was unexpected. They got it in the next day and were finished by noon! Bonus points for being about 25% cheaper than the dealer estimate.

Joe was amazing! (That's also my dad's name btw) I read the reviews prior to calling and his attention to detail as well as responsiveness to reviews was one of the main reasons I trusted him with a diagnostic on my BMW. He was one of the cheapest options and cut me a break without me asking or begging for it. He was very thorough and explained to me what I was reading on the diagnostic sheet. Once I come up with the rest of the funds I will DEFINITELY be trusting Joe with any other concerns I may have in regards to my BMW. Which is already not a cheap car to fix. Thank you so much again Joe. You truly helped me in a tight spot. I'll recommend you to ANYONE who will listen! ??

Just go there to change the oil and the brakes, it is incredible that they charge more than thousand dollar for it, will not go there to repair the car anymore.
