Wow. The Clip Joint has become like Family to us! For about 35 years (!) we have trusted numerous pets to the capable staff. Amongst other notables, Kathy and Sandi (sp?) are first-rate. Careful listeners; always aim to please; bows are a thoughtful touch. They allow 4-hour window appointment times...so no need to "leave" our "Kids" there all day! Soft spoken and kind. They are careful. Quick to offer their well-rounded advice, if asked. Innovative service on Tuesday and Friday nights, where CJ offers quick nail and eye "touch-ups". Buster and Bella give the CJ crew Two Toes Up! -Todd & Eileen

Years back I came to the Clip Joint and was always happy. But now that I am a customer again my experience is completely different, they don't do a good job keeping a schedule and the 2 ladies helping up front were extremely rude. But the main issue is my poor dog came back so stressed out and with a horrible haircut. Her hair wasn't even close to what we had talked about and they blamed my dog for being "difficult. "
I took her somewhere else the next month and she came back tired but not stressed out with a cute haircut and they told me she did fine. I don't know what happened to this place over the years but definitely would not recommend.

PLEASE READVery sad what has happened here. My family had been taking our dogs here for 20-plus years and loved the place. Kathy and Sandy were always sweet and took good care of our babies. But the last few visits have been a nightmare. We have been taking our cockerapoo there her whole life (5 years), and they have never had an issue with her. They aways said she did a good job and came back home with the haircut we requested. A couple of appointments ago, they said she behaved poorly and were unable to get her finished. So we called our vet and got her some tranquilizers. After that, they still gave her hack shop looking haircuts and told us how "difficult" she was. Last week was the last straw. They made us sign a paper both our dogs saying that we understood they were hard to handle and that the groomer would do the best they could under the circumstances. They never said anything about our other dog having issues. It was ridiculous and insulting. Somehow, both my dogs, who they have never had problems with in the past, are now so difficult that you can't get them done correctly? And our dog that they had made comments about was tranquilized! They make you sign that paper so they can do whatever job they feel like doing, and you can't say anything about it.

Everyone at the Clip Joint is so wonderful and obviously cares about the dogs they take care of. I have a dog who is reluctant to interact with people, but after taking her a few times she happily went back with her groomer. She always smelled and looked amazing when I picked her up. They took the time to tell me about any concerning skin/hair issues they saw. The employees are knowledgeable about specific breed needs, so every dog gets the groom that makes the most sense for them. Their prices are extremely fair for the attention and quality of service you get. I took my dog here for 5 years and they consistently gave her a lot of love and wonderful haircuts, and I can’t recommend them enough.
