I have been going here recently to shop mushrooms and local produces but I noticed that most of the fruits like avocados , tangerines, banana, mangoes are not organic at all including onions and some other vegetables also them selling hybrid ginger instead of wild and locals one doesn’t sit nice. I thought this shop was all about organic and local produces . Lost one star for that cause overall I love this shop .

I LOVE this place! Every time I go, I am always welcome with pleasantries and good vibes! The manager loves to strike up a conversation with the customers and really get to know them. It’s always very chill and inviting there. I will always shop here :)

I'm a member of this co-op. I believe in their mission, and it's great to have them serving our community. Their prices are good, they sell local and bulk goods, and everyone is very helpful.

Good service, I was able to purchase hormone free, grass fed beef, raised by the Nagl's. I would suggest it for every carnivore.

City Greens is worth the drive from any reasonable distance. Quality local goods at prices unheard of elsewhere. The benefits of this being a non-profit are vast... membership is tax deductible AND you don't have to pay the 10+% STL City sales tax. Folks are friendly, the store is neat and well organized, and it's a great place to pick up all your staples!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and we absolutely love what they do. They have been life savers during the COVID-19 pandemic as we can order our groceries on their website and then pick up our pre-packed box a few days later. We miss being able to drop in for a few items here and there but the convenience and service they provide has been so great. I can't say enough good things about this place, I tell everyone in St. Louis about them - it's everything I could want out of a community market! They give back, they support local farmers, and provide healthy food for under served communities, all while providing delicious and affordable food to me and my family. It's the best!

This market is an absolute treasure. By shopping here, you not only get fantastic produce from local farms and vendors, but you help your community in doing so. It's very affordable compared to similar local/organic markets in the area as well, even if you don't have a membership (which I highly recommend purchasing). You get so much bang for your membership buck, and you keep everyone's prices down too! The selection isn't huge, but you have all of your staples as well as some extra goodies available. I love their meat and poultry selection in particular. The free range chicken breasts they have are the most tender and flavorful I've ever purchased! Never buying meat from Aldi again. Also, shoutout to the incredible fresh herbs they grow themselves! Although you generally have to schedule pickup a week or so out during this COVID period, City Greens' curbside shopping process is easy and felt extremely safe. You just fill out a form online, then show up to pay and pick up. You only interact with one staff members, there are no other customers during your pickup slot, and everyone is in proper PPE. I cannot wait to shop here regularly in person!
