I wasn’t sure about leaving this review but after my 3rd visit to this clinic I think it’s only fair I share my personal experience. I went twice last year for my cats annual exams, the dr (I can’t remember his name, but it’s the older gentleman) examined my cats, gave advice and put me on a dry food version of my cats prescription food- all very helpful- but I just couldn’t shake the feeling of being uncomfortable with him. He was cold and dry and at some points in our conversation regarding my cats care and history, he was very condescending. I shook it off as I was new to the clinic and told myself maybe he’d just had long days (these were two separate occasions). I called recently to inquire if they did nail trimmings and the receptionist kindly confirmed they did and scheduled my appt. While attempting to schedule me she told me I had been cancelled in their system as a client, she and I were both confused about this because I had not contacted them to transfer my cats records to a different clinic or to even suggest I was no longer going to come to their clinic. She reactivated me and scheduled me. I went in and had my cat’s nails trimmed. The same Dr then took this opportunity to basically tell me that I could’ve/should’ve gone to a groomer to have this done. I didn’t appreciate his tone as he made it seem like the 10 minutes I was in to have my cats nails trimmed was the greatest inconvenience of his day. That being said, the receptionists are all very friendly, the clinic itself is so nice for cat lovers, but I strongly suggest the older Dr reevaluate his attitude and bedside manner. His attitude is the only reason I will not be returning to this clinic.

I have not met a kinder, more knowledgeable, and friendlier care providers for my 3 fur babies over the last two decades (and living in different states) than Dr. Nieberg & Chris, and their team.
What a relief I felt to find out that Dr. Nieberg & Chris are still here as it became evident that I was coming back to STL! Sunshine and I couldn’t be happier or more grateful.

I was frustrated by the lack of communication and concern with my previous vet (of 25 years) and had been looking for a new one for nearly a year. A friend referred me to Dr Scott and Chris and they are exactly what I was looking for. I went to them with a very sick cat and they have been tremendous at helping me care for him. They have been very caring, attentive, and responsive when it comes to making sure we are treating my cat and helping his health improve. When there are problems and treatments Dr Scott has been very helpful in explaining my options and outcomes. Very highly recommended.

After leaving a voicemail after hours on Sunday, the wonderful staff at City Cat Clinic promptly returned my call the following morning and were able to have my kitty seen the next day! Both Dr. Scott and Chris were thorough in their assessment and the treatment plan for Benson’s cough. The visit and prescription were affordable and exceptionally priced considering the level of attention they paid to my fur baby. I can’t recommend them highly enough!!

Excellent Vétérinaire very professional and caring.Outstanding staff.All are extremely gently with the babies what make this scary expérience much better for all. Highly recomend this clinic.

I love Dr. Neiberg and his staff! They've taken care of Eve the entire time I've had her (almost 8 years now). She's my first cat, so I had a lot to learn, but they've always been patient with me. All of the staff are total pros at dealing with/handling cats and their whole clinic is designed for cats. And it's clear when you meet with him that Dr. Neiberg really knows his stuff when it comes to cats. My only, very minor, complaint is that the parking can be a struggle.

I have been seeing Dr. Nieberg for only about a year for my two senior cats. Over that time, one of them got sick and needed to be put to sleep. The whole crew there were more than professional - I felt like they really did care. I asked so many questions and everyone was happy to answer. They wanted what was best for my kitty cats as much as I did. I will never forget the compassion they showed when I had to let my girl go and I will be forever grateful.

The receptionist over the phone was very cold and insensitive when we called in Monday morning. She did not use any words of empathy and was very short with us when we are describing our cat's condition. She ended the conversation before we could figure out any meaningful next step.Will definitely not take our cats there.
